Domestic violence and abuse can happen to anyone. Abuse happens within heteros*xual relationships and in same-s*x partnerships. It occurs within all age ranges, ethnic backgrounds, and economic levels.
There are many signs of an abusive relationship but sometimes it is difficult to recognize abuse.

Are you in an abusive relationship?

Do you feel afraid of your partner much of the time?
Do you feel that you can’t do anything right for your partner?
Do you feel emotionally numb or helpless?
Does your partner humiliate or yell at you?
Does your partner see you as property or a s*x object, rather than as a person?
Does your partner force you to have s*x?

If you suspect that someone you know is being abused, call us! They need help getting out of the situation.
