📊Kaksoiskäsineet ovat todisteiden mukaan oikea tapa edetä
📝Useimmat kirurgit tottuvat kaksoiskäsineiden käyttöön vain yhdessä⁴ tai
kahdessa⁵ päivässä.
📝Tutkimustulokset osoittavat, että kaksoiskäsineiden käyttö säilyttää sorminäppäryyden ja tuntoherkkyyden⁶.
📝Veren määrä neulassa vähenee kahden käsinekerroksen läpi menneessä jopa 95 %⁷.
📝Kaksoiskäsineiden käyttö on osoittautunut keskeiseksi osaksi leikkausalueen infektioiden (SSI)
vähentämistä leikkausympäristössä⁸.
📝Indikaattorikäsineitä kaksoiskäsineinä käytettäessä havaitaan merkittävästi enemmän reikiintymisiä verrattuna yksinkertaisten käsineiden käytössä tai tavalliseen kaksoiskäsine-järjestelmään, jossa molemmat käsineet ovat samanvärisiä⁹.
