A shout out to all parents! We all do so important work, especially those times when things don’t go smooth and we manage to model a more conscious way for our kids than we were shown by our parents. Hugs steps on healing the generational trauma! 🙌🏼

A mother healing her own generational trauma while consciously raising her child, provides a value to society that culture hasn’t yet come to fully understand. “

If you want to know what a culture values, look at who (and what) people admire and aspire to be.

Usually, this revolves around being famous, excelling in a career, being physically attractive, or various other traits that externally signal perceived power.

Mothers particularly are not seen in our society as one of the most important and influential roles. Her role is expected sacrifice with very little support.

This! The more you’ve resolved your past, the more present you can be in the NOW 💪🏽 i.e. the more power you have IN the NOW.

This is as essential to realise in the context of parenting as elsewhere in life: if you have unresolved childhood experiences, you will get triggered when your little ones test your boundaries and throw a tanty for “no apparent” reason. No matter how much we’d like to behave differently, unconscious drives our reactions much faster than conscious mind can intervene.

Not the power OF now --- but the POWER IN NOW!

Because the *power of now* is very passive. Basically the Power OF Now is working on you.

Where as working on the Power IN Now is very active - so it's how much power you can have in the now!

The most alive, successful, resolved human beings have the most power IN the now.

So how do you have the most power in the now?

When people have the most power in the now - they tend to have resolved their past to the point where their past is no longer a weight. It is no longer taking up their energy, their unconscious resources AND they are free enough to be present in the now!

It is really hard to be present in the now if you are burden by a past that has not been resolved.

Exciting news for this new year! I am back in business after a looong silence on this platform!

As you would expect, many things have changed and grown in five years. Professionally, the desire has reached another level to help as many people as I can to move through any road blocks your mind has conjured up along the years or any traumas that still have effects on your life.

Personally, not only have I grown into a mother of two, and therefore 100x’d my patience 😉, I’ve also been privileged (i.e. forced) to learn new ways to relax and down-regulate the nervous system in an environment that is hectic and completely chaotic at times.

I’m sure many of you can relate, and I will be connecting with you through videos and short content in the coming weeks. In the meanwhile, let us know how you are doing, and what change(s) you want to make in 2024.

Excited to kick off the 2024, I hope you are too!
