Been a little busy lately, but I’m still here!

Feeling grateful for the past seven months at home with baby and for this new season of life I am in. 💛💛💛

The dark and cold (many weeks of -30C and colder) winter up here in Lapland came and went, and spring has arrived in full swing. Our days have been filled with time spent outside on long walks, hikes in nature, nursing, diaper changes, learning new things and trying to get enough sleep, but most of all, lots and lots of joy.

Big life changes can really rock your world and this one sure has. 🤭💛

💚🌲Surrounded by evergreens up here🌲💚

Did you know juniper can live for hundreds of years? Some even over 1000 years😱 The world’s oldest juniper was actually found in the Finnish Arctic recently and lived for 1647 years, from the year 260 until 1906. Talk about resilience and endurance 🤭 and all that change occurring around these trees and shrubs throughout the years. It’s pretty remarkable what nature can teach us if we stop to look around, listen, and learn.

🍂🍁Fall vibes🍁🍂

One of my favorite things about fall is that it’s basically natures way of telling us to slow down. To turn inward. To prepare for winter. Nature invites us settle down alongside her after the more intense and active energy of the summer months and that is what we’re up to these days. Honoring the cycles and seasons of nature 🧡 Appreciating the foliage, the smell of fall, the cooler temperatures, all of it ✨

🍁What’s your favorite fall foliage color?🍁

🍂Ruska, or fall/autumn foliage is usually full on here in September. The fells and forests are full of beautiful red, yellow, and orange colors. Snd not only do the leaves of the trees change colors, but there is also something special about the ground ruska, or when the low-lying bushes turn beautiful colors as well. Ruska is truly a unique time up here in Lapland. This time of the year is also when the northern lights start to arrive. Who can say no to all the incredible colors in nature?!

⭐️September! My favorite month because it’s birthday month! ⭐️
 💫This is also a big month for us because we’re finally releasing the full Change: A Seasonal Journey Course (September 2025-August 2026) on September 15th! You’ll get 48 videos (4 per month for every month of the year),12 prompts (one for each month, and 1 extra month at the end of the year-long journey to finish watching the videos!

💫The changing seasons that we experience through all of these videos are used as a guide for understanding changes within ourselves, our hearts, and our minds.

🍁Welcoming the changing colors of the fall season.🍁

Sweater weather and darker evenings are upon us and we are excited! We love this time of year, this fall season, as it usually comes with a slower and softer energy that is much needed after a brighter and stronger energy of summertime.
