Do you suffer from unilateral arm swelling (swelling of one arm)? There are several causes for unilateral arm swelling, often related to poor lymphatic/venous drainage from the arm back to the heart. Thankfully, we are now able to treat veinous drainage related arm swelling, through peripheral/central vein angioplasty. Post kidney transplant care is a challenge in Fiji and the Pacific. Our "trial" run last week had no technical difficulties - for a change! This web based platform requires no app download and can be set up within seconds. Dr Amrish was registered as a specialist in Fiji in 2015, and has since cared for hundreds of Fijians, and Pacific Islanders, with advanced kidney disease. He believes all people in the Pacific deserve access to better kidney health, and affordable dialysis.
