UPDATE: COVID-19 TESTING

With the number of tests performed over the last week, we have limited our supply of test kits, except for those reserved for appointments already booked. We are not accepting any new bookings at this time.

If you have already booked an Appointment time with us please Do Not arrive more than 15 minutes before and follow all COVID SAFE practices including, wearing a well fitted and correctly worn mask, keeping a minimum of 2 meters from anyone outside your bubble especially if in a queue and have your careFIJI app on and running.

We will advice through our social media channels when testing is to resume.

If you are suffering from COVID-19 Symptoms such as fever or chills, cough, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea please make your way to a MOH Screening Site closest to you but please avoid public transportation to do so.

All outstanding test results have been delivered today Sunday 18th July, if you have not received yours please contact the hospital.

For all those who received a test from us thank you and please remember a negative test result does not make you safe from COVID-19. Please continue to follow COVID SAFE practices including wearing a well fitted and correctly worn mask, keeping a minimum of 2 meters from anyone outside your bubble and to have you careFIJI app on and running when out in public and to wash your hands with soap and water or use an alcohol based sanitiser often when not at home.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Since the launch of our Drive-Thru Testing service we have seen a significantly higher than expected turnout. As a result we are implementing new procedures and rules to alleviate the issues faced by our patients and team over the last 2 days. As the changes take affect we will continue to monitor the situation and will update our procedures as required.

Nasese Private Hospital reserves the right to withhold services to those not adhering to our procedures or COVID Safe protocols.

The following changes are effective immediately and will be enforced:

* TESTING IS STRICTLY BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
* TESTING IS STRICTLY VIA DRIVE-THRU ONLY
* DO NOT ENTER THE DRIVE-THRU QUEUE MORE THAN 15MIN BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
* PATIENTS MUST NOT EXIT VEHICLES ONCE IN THE QUEUE
* MASKS MUST BE WORN BY ALL OCCUPANTS OF THE VEHICLE

For patients who do not have access to a vehicle but have booked an appointment the following strict procedures must be followed:

* ACCESS IS LIMITED TO THE SECOND SWABBING SITE AT THE REAR OF THE HOSPITAL.
* DO NOT CONGREGATE AT THE HOSPITAL’S MAIN ENTRANCE OR AMBULANCE BAY
* NO MORE THAN 3 PATIENTS WILL BE ADMITTED IN TO THE SWABBING AREA AT ANY ONE TIME.
* SOCIAL DISTANCING MUST BE PRACTISED AT ALL TIMES
* WELL FITTED MASKS MUST BE WORN CORRECTLY AT ALL TIMES
* CAREFIJI APP TO BE KEPT ON AT ALL TIMES

Please also note our supply of RT-PCR tests have been exhausted and we expect new tests to arrive by the end of the month.

COVID-19 TESTING DELAYS

We are currently experiencing high demand for our COVID-19 testing please bear with us and we ask everyone to please practice individual responsibility in STRICTLY following the COVID SAFE practices as you wait to be seen.

~ Well fitted mask to be worn correctly at all times
~ 2 meter distance from anyone who is not in your bubble
~ CareFIJI App to be kept on at all times
