As Warriors we always look forward to our Weekly Bible study as we come together and share our victories and challenges we face through the week.

Today we welcome our new sister, Susana Aropio and friend of SCR , Koni Vosaicake Ravono.

The Word of God was shared to us by our CEO , Mereane Vavataga, and she shared on the life of Dorcas Tabitha. Dorcas was always showing love and kindness to the poor and the vulnerable. She was sowing into her future. Such a powerful message and we were so blessed.

We finished off the day with a hearty lunch of boiled fish and miti with moca. Our fresh fish was from Oneata. God's blessings in abundance.

IWD 2026 Message

Theme: Give to Gain

“2 are better than one, but a 3 strong cord cannot easily be broken”
In this verse we are confronted with the reality that we were not meant to operate in isolation. Ecclesiastes 4: 10(a) two is better than one...if either of them falls, one can help the other up. Vs. 12(b), adds that “a cord of three strands cannot easily be broken” how much better it is when there are 3 cords intertwined together. With Christ in our vessel 3 is stronger.

As we take this time to celebrate International Women’s Day, we remember our fellow warriors of past...

women who broke medical boundaries
women who walked through the mire and pain
women who defied the odds to survive yet another day
women who carried laid their burdens bare
so that we can face an easier TODAY

We commemorate and celebrate those who despite a difficult life altering diagnosis, rose up and said, “I can face the day, not because of who I am, but whose I am.”

We celebrate the founding mothers and board trustees who put their trust in the great God we serve to champion daughters, mothers, sisters, aunties, grandmothers, and great grandmothers.
In fostering change by empowering us Women Cancer Survivors – Warriors, in our spiritual, emotional and mental wellbeing.

Today marks a day where we as Warriors, can celebrate each others victories, triumphs and achievements. We are stronger today knowing that if one of our sisters made it, we too know we can make it.

We celebrate that ability to share our stories knowing that there is no shame in it, there is no defeat in it. We share our story know there is only power, healing and strength in it.

We give of ourselves not for self gain, we give out of an abundance of goodness. A goodness that flows through us from a greater source.

I know I can make it not because of who I am, but because of whose I am.

We are overcomers! I am an overcomer! We Give, so that Others Gain! I Give, so that Others Gain.

As we celebrate international women’s day with Self Care Retreat (Fiji) working with Women Cancer Survivors, we acknowledge local solutions, odd defying resolutions grounded in the Word of God.

We celebrate knowing we live to see another day being not only better versions of ourselves for ourselves, but for our children, our siblings, our husbands, our families, and in turn, our communities.

We celebrate that we can celebrate and treasure great lasting memories together, as we endeavour to be better women in the Kingdom.

Today we celebrated the International Women's Day, by focusing on the strength, resilience and faith of our Women Cancer Survivors.

Thank you Mrs Kasanita Maivalili for your powerful sharing from Judges Chapter 1 ; 9. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

We were encouraged as Women Cancer Survivors to be strong and courageous for God is with us wherever we go. Our story is unique, our voice matters because we have been Healed Spiritually, Emotionally and Mentally.

Happy International Women's Day to all our fellow Warriors.

Sometimes God’s provision doesn’t come the way we expect it. It may not arrive through open doors, easy paths, or obvious blessings. Instead, it comes in ways that surprise us — through unlikely sources, unexpected moments, and situations we almost overlook.
Just like the coin found in the mouth of a fish in Matthew 17:27, God reminds us that He is never limited by our circumstances. When resources seem lacking and solutions feel impossible, He already has a plan prepared. What looks ordinary in our hands can carry extraordinary provision in His will.
Trust that even in uncertainty, God is working behind the scenes. He sees the need before we speak it. He provides before we panic. And He moves in ways that strengthen our faith and draw us closer to Him.

Hold on. Believe. Obey.

Because God still provides in unexpected ways.
