Davesh Patel, Director and Physiotherapist at MVP Physiotherapy , recently had the honor of speaking at the Physiotherapy New Zealand Conference, held from September 6th to 8th, 2024. As the largest event for physiotherapy in Aotearoa, this biennial gathering brings together professionals, speakers, stakeholders, and sponsors from around the world. For Davesh, this experience was both enriching and fulfilling.
The conference serves as an incredible opportunity for learning and collaboration, allowing physiotherapists to connect, share knowledge, and explore advancements in their field. Davesh presented on the topic of physiotherapy in the Pacific, specifically comparing practices between the Pacific Islands and Australasia.
“Attending this conference not only allowed me to share insights but also provided an opportunity to bring back valuable knowledge to my clinic, MVP Physiotherapy and the broader physiotherapy community in Fiji. Being part of such a significant event highlighted the importance of continuous learning and the need for collaboration among health professionals.
