Is your "Chiropractor" qualified? Your health depends on the answer.

Many believe Chiropractic is just about "popping" a joint. In reality, it is a doctorate-level medical science focused on your nervous system, functional neurology, and human performance. To be a Doctor of Chiropractic, one must complete a graduate program similar to a Medical Doctor (MD).

⚠️ Know the Facts

Education Matters: A weekend course or "clicking" joints does not make someone a Chiropractor. True care requires years of studying the brain-body communication channels.

Current Status in Fiji: Following the passing of Dr. Byron Cragun, Dr Nemani D L (Lalanabaravi) remains the primary qualified resident professional, supported by visiting practitioners like Dr. Mathieu Barre, and others.

Unlicensed Practitioners: We are aware of several individuals currently practicing in Fiji without proper graduate-level health education or a Doctor of Chiropractic license.

🛡️ Your Right to Choose

While we respect the right of community healers to operate and the right of the public to choose their own path to wellness, we believe that choice must be informed. Treating the spine without professional training in the dynamics of the human body carries significant risk. If you choose an unlicensed practitioner, that is your choice—but please be aware of the difference in training and safety standards.

Spacific Chiropractic Health and Wellness joins the Ministry of Health and Medical Services and the nation of Fiji in mourning the passing of the Permanent Secretary for Health, Dr. Jemesa Tudravu.

Dr. Tudravu was a titan in the health sector, serving with humility and integrity for over three decades. Beyond his national duties, he was an invaluable asset and a pillar of support to our small clinic. Despite the heavy demands of his office, his mentorship, and guidance were unwavering; he was always just a phone call or email away when we needed counsel.

We are deeply grateful for everything he has done for the medical community and for the personal support he extended to our Spacific Chiropractic Health & Wellness - FIJI family. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, his colleagues, and all those affected by his passing.
