We are pleased to share that all twelve children, part of this year's Uto Bulabula - Healthy Hearts initiative, have arrived safely in Suva. Over the weekend, they and their carers were warmly welcomed and settled into their accommodation, which will be home for the coming months.

They are currently undergoing consultations and health checks with Dr Maryanne Kora’ai, PMA’s in-country locum paediatrician, as preparations begin for their life-saving cardiac surgeries.

It is a privilege to support them on this life-changing journey and we look forward to walking alongside these brave children and their families over the coming months, as they move through the stages of pre-op, surgery, and recovery.

Thank you Pacific Babies and Misimisi clinic for the partnership. The first of many more collaborations.
It was good to see some of the children I had diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease when they were babies. All grown up and thriving. The joy of such work. ❤️

Of course I take every opportunity to instill some interest in Paediatric cardiology. This is an intern at Vila Central Hospital, Port Vila, holding an echo probe for the first time. This young generation learn so fast and have so much potential.
