📣"Achieving Reproductive Justice For Labour Mobility Participants"

✨Earlier today at the regional dialogue on Pacific Labour Mobility (PALM) and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), Reproductive & Family Health Association of Fiji - RFHAF represented the Pacific Member Associations (MAs) alongside on a panel discussion to share insights on how we are supporting Scheme workers before, during, and after their overseas placements.

⚠️ has been instrumental in delivering pre-departure briefings for seasonal workers in Fiji ensuring that Pacific men and women receive life-saving information on contraception, STI prevention, and accessing services in Australia and New Zealand. “Sex doesn’t stop during disasters or deployments - so SRHR shouldn’t either”, says Sera Ratu from .

Together, we are building a connected care model that provides:
✅ Pre-departure SRHR briefings
✅ Linkages to SRH service providers in host countries (Aus & NZ)
✅ Referral support when workers return home

These efforts are especially critical as we address rising STI & HIV cases, reproductive coercion, and limited access to culturally appropriate care.
