MONT BLANC MIS — Advancing Minimally Invasive Posterior Fixation

In 2016, Spineway introduced MONT BLANC MIS, a minimally invasive posterior fixation system designed to meet the evolving surgical standards of the time.

This system includes:
• A new pedicle screw design adapted for percutaneous techniques
• A dedicated and patented instrumentation allowing the insertion of screws and rods through a minimally invasive approach

By reducing surgical exposure while maintaining stability, MONT BLANC MIS offered an alternative to open procedures for selected posterior indications.
It complemented the original MONT BLANC system and reflected Spineway’s ability to adapt to emerging surgical techniques and preferences.

MONT BLANC 3D+ — A Global Direct Correction of Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis

In 2014, Spineway introduced MONT BLANC 3D+, an instrumentation designed to be used with MONT BLANC implants for the correction of idiopathic scoliosis.

MONT BLANC 3D+ was developed to enable a direct and global three-dimensional correction of spinal deformities.

Key features of the system include:
• Simultaneous three-dimensional correction of rotation, translation, and restoration of sagittal curvatures
• Correction applied along the entire deformity
• Control of thoracic kyphosis to help prevent flat back

With MONT BLANC 3D+, Spineway further expanded its commitment to providing surgeons with solutions for complex spinal deformity correction.

SPINEWAY turns 20 this year — Looking back on a key milestone: our IPO in 2013 🚀

In 2013, with the ambition of supporting its growth and advancing innovation in spinal surgery, Spineway made the strategic decision to go public on Euronext Growth.

This IPO marked a turning point in the company’s trajectory, enabling:
👥 the structuring of dedicated teams through key recruitments,
🔹 the development of innovative product lines,
🌍 international expansion into complex markets,
🏭 and more recently, the launch of a new production line dedicated to ESP prostheses.

A bold step in ALIF - Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion - surgery.
Launched by Spineway in the early 2010s, KILI was a stand-alone anterior lumbar interbody fusion device.

Designed to treat degenerative disc disease in skeletally mature patients, KILI featured a distinctive design: single-level fixation to the inferior vertebral body, reflecting Spineway’s early commitment to explore alternative biomechanical concepts.

🔁 Following the acquisition of Spine Innovations, manufacturer of the lumbar total disc replacement LP-ESP®, KILI was officially discontinued in 2024. This strategic shift marks Spineway’s decision to focus its efforts on its viscoelastic motion preservation solution for the treatment of lumbar degenerative disc disease through anterior approach.
