À la Fondation Franco-Britannique de Sillery, cet anniversaire revêt une résonance toute particulière. Pendant la Première Guerre mondiale, Paul Cambon, l'un des principaux artisans de l'Entente, présidait à titre honoraire l'organisation dont est issue notre Fondation. L'amitié entre nos deux nations est ainsi tissée dans nos origines mêmes.

On this day in 1904, the Entente Cordiale was signed, a landmark accord that transformed the relationship between France and the United Kingdom, and shaped the century that followed.
At the Fondation Franco-Britannique de Sillery, this anniversary carries a particular resonance. During the First World War, Paul Cambon, one of the principal architects of the Entente, served as honorary president of our predecessor organisation, the body from which our Foundation was born. The friendship between our two nations was woven into our very origins.
More than a century later, we remain a living incarnation of that Entente, not in diplomacy or treaty, but in the daily reality of our work. French and British, side by side, we support the most vulnerable.
