It was a shock last week to learn of the death of my friend, colleague and teacher Philip McNamara. Phil was a prominent figure in the world of Sound Healing in the UK and internationally and is a huge loss to our community.

His enthusiasm and love for gongs was infectious, his book "Gongs and TamTams" a great resource, and his integrity and generosity in sharing his knowledge appreciated.

I remember a wonderful night with him at the Proms listening out for gong sounds, and him agreeing to be my guest speaker at a Secret Soundbath event I organised...a photo of us below.

Condolences to all who knew, loved and laughed with Phil. May his memory be a blessing and the heavenly gongs chime.
