High in the canopy, where science meets skill and history meets nature, tree work becomes something greater—it becomes a contribution 🌳✌️🌈

A small group of individuals just recently spent time in French Guiana, they had the opportunity to take on a wide range of fascinating and challenging projects. From technical tree work in the capital city of Cayenne to preserving cultural heritage at the historic Mondelicé sugar plantation, and supporting vital scientific research in remote forest sites like Paracou and Bagne des Annamites—every job pushed their skills and purpose. Whether installing antennas to track birds of prey or placing heat sensors high in the canopy, each task played a part in supporting science, culture, and conservation.

At Courant, we’re proud to support initiatives like these that blend skilled climbing, environmental research, and heritage preservation—highlighting the critical role tree professionals play beyond traditional arboriculture 💚

Courant in Texas for the North American TCC 🇨🇦🇺🇸🇲🇽

NATCC 2025 was one for the books! We’re proud to have supported this event as the Climber Bag Sponsor and so thrilled to see so many climbers—60 out of 65 in Ascent and 7 of 8 in Masters—choosing Courant ropes 🪢⬆️🌳

Extra shoutout to our PDV aka .for.climbing for volunteering as Head Technician and Masters Judge. He had the pleasure to work with some very professional and solid climbers to help make this prelim event a success. Thanks to everyone who makes this community so special‼️

9th Mexican TCC from Puerto Vallarta 🌳🪢🇲🇽

Our very own PDV .for.climbing headed down to the Mexican TCC, teaming up with Ricardo to deliver a Masters Class in Aerial Rescue ⛑️

He then took on the role of Head Judge for Ascent, working alongside an incredible team, including Head Tech Noel . On top of that, he was honored to judge the Masters Event, helping crown the Mexican Champions 👏✌️

PDV also connected with our dealer, La Casa de Arborista, setting up a demo of top-tier products for competitors to explore 👋

But above all, he gained more tree family and lifelong friends in this amazing tree care industry—while also reconnecting with familiar faces and new friends from the workshop in El Salvador late last year!

9ème Mexican TCC depuis Puerto Vallarta 🌳🪢🇲🇽

Notre PDV .for.climbing s’est rendu au Mexican TCC, où il a collaboré avec Ricardo pour animer une Master Class sur le sauvetage aérien ⛑️.

Il a ensuite endossé le rôle de juge principal pour l’épreuve d’ascension, travaillant aux côtés d’une équipe incroyable, dont le Head Tech Noel . En plus de cela, il a eu l’honneur de juger l’épreuve Masters, contribuant à couronner les champions mexicains 👏✌️.

PDV en a aussi profité pour rencontrer notre distributeur _La Casa de Arborista_ et organiser une démonstration des meilleurs produits pour les compétiteurs 👋.

Mais surtout, il a agrandi sa famille arboricole et s’est fait des amis pour la vie tout en retrouvant des visages familiers et de nouvelles connaissances du workshop au Salvador de l’année dernière ! 🌿💪
