In honor of Herbalists Day, we want to take a moment to acknowledge an herbalist whose bountiful gifts have had immeasurable impacts on the lives of thousands of herbal care givers and care seekers. Sevensong has been teaching and practicing herbalism for over 40 years and has always been generous in sharing his wisdom and experiences along the way.
Through his school, the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine, he has taught hundreds of incredible herbalists who now teach their own herbal courses. In other words, 7Songโs teachings have had a ripple effect on the community, and you have undoubtedly benefited from his teachings, even if you didnโt know it.
7Song is also a co-founder and clinical herbalist at the Ithaca Free Clinic in New York. This free clinic offers integrated wellness care to those in need, no matter their economic status. As a practitioner, he has supported countless people in their wellness journey, and empowered the next generations of herbal practitioners by teaching others how to provide care.
This year, 7Song announced a FREE HERBAL DATABASE, accessible to all on his website. This compilation of his decades-long practice is truly a gift to the community and is worthy of celebration. He announced that the database will continuously be a work in progress, and he will be adding to it over time.
