I tried Yoga in Dharamsala, India, in 2004 and since then, I have had a steady practise. My travels and studies continued in India until 2008 through Rishikesh, Rajastan, Goa, Kerela and to Varanasi, to ’Shri Guru Panipandey International School of Practical Yoga’ and ’Gayatri Yoga Kendra’ where I found my first personal teachers and completed my first 150 hours of teacher training. In 2007 I was
certified another 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training at the International Sivananda Vedanta Centre in France and after another 4 years of practise, in 2011, I was certified 500 hours Advanced Yoga Teacher. Today I have more than 1200 hours teacher training and further studies in Sivananda, Hatha, Integral, Yoga Therapy and Acro Yoga. In 2009 I started studying Naturopathy which goes hand in hand with Yoga and gives me good knowledge of nutrition, anatomy, body function and over all natural health and balance. I graduated in 2014 in Naturopathy and Holisitc Health Management, a 2000 hours study. In 2018 I was certified in Quiro and Sport Massage in Barcelona. I also have done extensions Thai and Metameric Massage.
+400 hours in total. To me Yoga is something universal, supposed to bring a sense of freedom, unity and balance to the practitioner. I am not attached to a certain style, style, school or guru, well yes, freestyle! 😉
I get my inspiration from everything that makes sense to me through what I have been taught and what my own intuition tells me in my personal practice. I love to amplify 'unity in diversity'. Yoga brings about balance, flexibility, stability and strength to body mind and spirit. It is about awareness, energy, freedom and unity. I no longer go for old dogmas of do's and don't's, right and wrong, as yoga itself taught me to break free from that thought pattern. I am ever grateful on this path and for what yoga provides me and it is now an integrated life-practise that helps me in many different situations. I wish to share this as good as I can. To me all yoga is united yet free. It is up to ourselves to find a way we like. We can be inspired, we can agree, but it is not a must. It has to make you feel free but still realise the responsibility of freedom. I love to try different techniques and focus on unity in diversity. The style I teach is both steady and flowing with concentration on the root postures, their variations, how we breathe, relax and nurture ourselves mentally, physically and emotionally. Maintaining balance. My name is Laerke Olise Kjaergaard (spiritual name Satya). Born and raised in Denmark, now living in the south of France. I have also lived, studied and taught in France, India and Spain. Yoga works on physical, mental and emotional balance, stability, flexibility and strength. A spiritual practice indeed. Rather then a sport, in is a holistic science of bringing the being to a sense of harmony, unity and peace. I am, you are, we are, they are! HariOmTatSat
