Harvesting grass silage requires attention to detail to ensure high quality and optimal nutritional value 🌿🚜

Here are some tips to keep in mind:
✅ Harvest grass when at 20-30 cm (8-12 inches) tall,
✅ Aim to cut grass at a height of 6-7 cm (2.4-2.8 inches) to avoid soil contamination,
✅ Adjust the chop length based on the dry matter (DM) content of the grass. For grass with >30% DM, use a chop length of 1.5-2 cm (0.5-0.8 inches). For grass below 30% DM, use 2-5 cm (0.8-2 inches),
✅ Use silage inoculant according to your grass challenge and protect the treasure you grow.
