Dr. David Azaria presents a case of pulpitis in tooth 4.7 following a recent composite restoration close to the pulp. The tooth has been treated with a composite filling close to the pulp few days ago, causing spontaneous pain.
Manual files was used for exploration of the canal (K08, K10) with precaution to the curvature in the third part. The glide-path was obtained with Excalibur Glider. A mechanical glider allow the effective enlargement and the secured path through the curvature. The shaping was executed with Excalibur Pro E25, with no difficulty once the glide-path is assured.
All the shaping procedure was done with HEDP and the irrigation step with ClONa 3%, activated with Z-Activator. The E25 allowed the space to irrigate close to the apex safely. Rinsing with saline to eliminate all the chlorine inside the canal, right before bioceramic obturation. The tooth was close hermetically with composite filling.
🙏 Special thanks to Dr. David Azaria for sharing his clinical expertise and trust in Zarc solutions.
