Au rythme d’une distillation de plantes à la vapeur et du processus d’extraction de leurs essences à l’aide d’un alambic en cuivre, nous explorerons ensemble les bienfaits de l’olfaction et son utilisation en tant que soin.

Invitée par Paysan Parfumeur, Véronique Marché, médecin olfactothérapeute, partagera son expérience où le parfum devient un allié précieux pour la santé en stimulant la production des quatre hormones du bien-être, favorisant ainsi un équilibre émotionnel propice à une harmonie globale.

Marie-Cassandre Bultheel et Hélène Aguilar présentent les COSMIC HOUR, pensées pour activer une communauté gourmande et impatiente de tisser des liens autour de l’Art de vivre Cosmos and Matter.

Un site mis à jour, deux nouveaux parfums : We as One et Feralis (la cristalisation sensible), une nouvelle collection de parfums d'intérieur L'Eau dans l'Air, une gamme d'encens, et L'Air Mail pour une découverte éphémère de nos créations. Un système de précommande a été mis en place, mieux adapté à notre production artisanale.

C'est en compagnie de Flora Gall, artiste photographe franco-hongroise, que nous inaugurons notre série 'vues par', une collection photographique où des photographes posent un regard libre et sensible sur notre travail. À travers une quête documentaire, Flora explore le détail, le temps, la lumière et la mémoire (découvrez son univers sur floragaal.com). Elle est venue passé quelques jours d'automne sur notre terre de la vallée de la Roya. Flora a suivi nos cueillettes et nos processus de distillation et de macération. En point d'orgue, un aperçu de notre future collection 'CinémaScope'. Ce retour aux sources pour le fondateur est un trait d'union, un phrasé olfactif qui dévoilera une vision en 'cinémascope' du travail mené depuis une quinzaine d'années au Domaine de la Chapelle Saint-Jérôme avec des eaux florales, huiles, parfums et encens. Plus de détails à venir sur ce coffret unique, alchimique, célébrant les quatre éléments - l'Eau, le Feu, l'Air et la Terre…
We inaugurate our 'seen by' series with Flora Gall, a Franco-Hungarian artist and photographer. A photographic collection where photographers put their free and sensible gaze on our work. Through a documentary quest, Flora delves into the intricacies of detail, time, light, and memory (explore her world at floragaal.com). Flora recently spent a few days in our spaces, nestled in the heart of the Roya Valley on the border of France and Italy, sensitively capturing the essence of Paysan Parfumeur. She witnessed our harvesting and the processes of distillation and maceration, where we allow the plants to fully express themselves. Highlighting the series, a sneak peek of our upcoming 'CinémaScope' collection. A return to the roots for our founder, this collection pays tribute to cinema and unveils a complete 'cinémascope' story of our work with hydrosols, oils, perfumes, and incense. La Cristallisation Sensible, emblème de notre travail, est à la fois une méthode et une philosophie. Le processus débute avec une solution de chlorure de cuivre, dans laquelle une goutte du parfum à analyser est ajoutée. Sous contrôle de température et d'humidité, cette solution, en s'évaporant, révèle un motif évoquant l'arborescence du végétal. Ce que nous observons est une photo de la boîte de Pétri utilisée pour l'expérimentation.
La substance renferme des forces lui conférant une capacité de structuration, orientant ainsi la cristallisation. Dans l'univers de "Paysan Parfumeur", chaque fragrance raconte une histoire, reflétant les forces en jeu et l'alchimie des essences entre elles. C'est une toile où la nature se dévoile, soulignant la vitalité de nos parfums et leur symbiose avec la terre. Cela transcende la conscience écologique ; c'est la formation d'un lien profond, l'amour universel qui unit plantes et humains.
Sensitive Crystallization, emblematic of our work, is both a method and a philosophy. The process begins with a solution of copper chloride, into which a drop of the perfume to be analyzed is added. Under controlled temperature and humidity, as this solution evaporates, it reveals a pattern reminiscent of plant branching. What we observe is a photograph of the Petri dish used for the experiment.
The substance contains forces that give it a structuring capability, thus directing the crystallization. In the universe of "Paysan Parfumeur", each fragrance tells a story, reflecting the forces at play and the alchemy of the essences among themselves. It's a canvas where nature unveils itself, highlighting the vitality of our perfumes and their symbiosis with the earth. This transcends mere ecological awareness; it's the forging of a deep bond, the universal love that ties plants and humans together.

La presse nous apprécie, et le sentiment est réciproque. Un grand merci aux journalistes, photographes, et à leurs rédactrices et rédacteurs en chef pour avoir porté un regard sensible sur notre travail. En mettant en lumière notre jeune entreprise avec leurs mots et leurs images, ils amplifient notre message et nous ouvrent de nouveaux horizons. Notre aventure entrepreneuriale est un peu particulière ; elle se situe à la croisée des chemins, dans un secteur ultra-concurrentiel, tout en ayant une vocation altruiste. Nous sommes les petits David face aux Goliaths du domaine, avec un mantra plutôt léger : reconnecter notre humanité à la nature par le biais des fragrances du règne végétal, surtout dans ces temps troublés où chacun d'entre nous a besoin de réconfort.
Il y en a pour tous les goûts : de la télévision à la radio, en passant par la presse régionale et nationale, jusqu'aux très élégants "mooks", ces magazines qui font le lien entre le livre et le magazine. Un clin d'œil à France 3, Marie Claire, France Bleu, Grain, Nice Matin, Beau magazine et le petit dernier, (à paraître).
The press has been kind to us, and the feeling is mutual. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the journalists, photographers, and their chief editors for casting a sensitive eye on our work. By illuminating our fledgling venture with their words and visuals, they not only amplify our voice but also broaden our horizons. Ours is no ordinary business; we stand at the crossroads of an intensely competitive industry. We are the proverbial David facing off against the Goliaths of our field, guided by the light yet profound mantra of rekindling humanity's connection to nature through the fragrances of vegetal regeneration—especially crucial in these deeply turbulent times where comfort is a universal yearning.
There's something here for everyone—television, radio, regional and national press, and even the elegantly crafted 'mooks,' those niche publications that straddle the line between books and magazines. Biennale Amour Vivant 12-23/10/2023
Un lieu éphémère à couper le souffle, une vue imprenable sur Paris. 900m2 d'expositions, de conférences, de rencontres. On y savoure de délicieux encas et on y trinque à la vie. On y débat, on philosophe lors des échanges , on y écoute la musique des plantes . La créativité est à l'honneur, on y expérimente l'alchimie des plantes .alchimies et bien sûr, où avec notre alambic de cuivre et nos plantes méditerranéennes fraîchement récoltées, nous présentons l'art de la distillation des plantes mais aussi des idées…
Petit clin d'œil aux Matériaux Parisiens qui ont recyclé nos restes de distillation en objets, un bel exemple d'écosystème qui sent bon l'upcycling. Collab en perspective.
Un écosystème florissant, œuvre de trois fondatrices qui ont façonné cette biennale en une expérience mémorable. Marie-Cassandre Bultheel, Hélène Aguilar et Armelle Lalo. Un grand merci à elles, ainsi qu'à toute leur équipe pour ces moments inoubliables partagés.

Following our latest collection, Paysan Parfumeur is extremely proud to introduce our newest innovation: La Natura Machine, from our collaboration with visual artist . Repurposed from a recycled soda vending machine, La Natura Machine has nothing to sell, but everything to offer. In the busy locations where it will be installed, it will provide a journey of reconnection to the plant world, without any monetary exchange.

Participants, intrigued by this extraordinary dispenser, will receive a personalized travel ticket accompanied by two plant water samples to spray after completing a brief questionnaire.

The Natura Machine is a whimsical botanical utopia, aiming to pull us out of the numbness induced by an anxiety-ridden society disconnected from its environment. It offers passers-by a light and sensory respite, showing kindness and helping us reconnect with our natural surroundings.

Studio Paysan Parfumeur is an associative farm that combines Paysan Parfumeur Perfumes and a creative studio, primarily focusing on the study of the plant kingdom through olfaction.

Just coming back from the niche perfume festival of independent perfumers in Milan, a must-attend event for fragrance enthusiasts. With over 280 independent brands and fragrances present, it was an olfactory adventure! !

One of the highlights of the festival was discovering , a brand recommended by the conference experts. Their booth stood out with its eye-catching blue design. Pierre's fragrances were so elegant, providing a refreshing contrast to the overwhelming mix of scents throughout the festival.

I had a chance to chat with Pierre and I'm grateful for his openness and valuable words. His passion for the art of perfumery was inspiring and truly made my day.

I met other perfumers and explored various fragrance houses, Emanuel from , another Emanuelle, expat in London from the , René from the centuries old Berlin's house

Each of them brought innovative approaches to the world of perfumery, making the event a truly inspiring and diverse experience. I want to thank my dear old friend, for her pinky Hotel booth and for organizing this festival.

We'll definitely be there for the next edition.

Les eaux florales issues des plantes que nous cultivons représentent une part importante de nos parfums. L’eau florale ou hydrolat est le résultat de la distillation à la vapeur d’eau avec un alambic. Une opération que nous menons après la récolte des plantes où nous récupérons d’une part, une eau distillée, l’hydrolat, et d’autre part une huile, l’huile essentielle, en plus petite quantité. Le terme hydrolat est plus approprié que celui d'"eau florale" car il est obtenu non seulement à partir de fleurs mais aussi de racines, graines ou feuilles lors de la distillation. Les hydrolats font partie de l'hydrolathérapie, une branche de la phytothérapie.
