Also known as Traditional Thai massage (Nuad Boren), with roots in ancient Indian Ayurvedic medicine, this massage combines elements of acupressure, deep tissue and Shiatsu with gentle assisted stretches. It brings together techniques found in physiotherapy, reiki and other traditions, including acupressure trigger points and myo-fascial release. The massage is performed on a light mattress on the floor, the client dressed in loose comfortable clothing.
A deeply relaxing and transformative treatment, and an excellent sports massage, it releases tension, relieves pain, loosens the body, calms the mind and balances energy. Anyone can enjoy this powerful and meditative practice, whatever their age, body type or flexibility.
Expect: deep pressure, movements, twists, back bends, forward bends, stretches and feeling grounded, nurtured and fully connected with your body... all the benefits of yoga with none of the exertion!

Developmental Infant Massage
I offer one-on-one and group sessions in Developmental Baby Massage to parents and carers.
Trained by UK baby massage guru Peter Walker, I teach a multitude of techniques, starting with therapeutic play, soothing positions and calming techniques in the very early weeks, to more developmental play-based work and massage from 3 months onwards. From gentle strokes to release newborn flexion, releasing the belly for total relaxation, working towards independent tummy time, to practising the three steps to standing with your infant, you will learn to encourage the healthiest and most natural development over your baby’s first year of life. I demonstrate on my teaching doll so that only you, the parent or carer, needs to touch your baby - although of course I am also happy to demonstrate techniques on your baby, if they and you are also happy!
Sessions on demand depending on you and your baby :)
Therapeutical bodywork
Targeted and physiotherapist-approved treatments for specific muscular problems, as well as recommending physical exercises to improve strength, flexibility and balance, and reduce tension.
I teach a bodywork series called “ancient stretches” as learned from Rahul Bharti of the Healing Hands Centre, which incorporates the roots of yoga and Pilates.
Relaxation, meditation and self-healing
We can demonstrate and/or guide you through many dynamic and guided meditations for self-healing, cleansing, balancing, grounding, calming, dealing with fear, and relaxation, among other things. Many of these use breathwork to focus attention on the energetic and physical bodies, and can be very helpful for people suffering from mental or emotional strain of all kinds.
