Our Chamonix Trail Running and Yoga Retreat is your invitation to slow down and move with purpose in the world’s trail‑running capital.

For five days and four nights you’ll settle into an elegant chalet, savour nourishing plant‑based meals and let panoramic alpine views remind you why you love moving your body. Each day blends invigorating runs on iconic mountain trails with restorative yoga and meditation.

After a week in the Lyngen Alps way up in the Arctic region of Norway, we finally got a perfect day of skiing on our last day. Blue skies, excellent snow conditions and no other people in the terrain. It felt remote, peaceful and brought life into perspective. We are small and insignificant and life will continue regardless. I don’t watch or read the news but I’m aware of what’s happening in the world. But in the Arctic it felt a world away with the pace of life suiting the way I like to live, slowly and thoughtfully, with just enough adventure to make me feel truly alive.

Every day we head into different terrain around the valley. Routes chosen for incredible scenery and variable terrain.

Yoga in the morning helps prepare the body. Evening sessions help you recover so you’re ready to go again the next day.

One of the best things about our retreats isn’t the running.

It’s the people.

Small groups of runners who arrive from different places and quickly find a shared rhythm: moving through the mountains, eating well, recovering properly, and spending time surrounded by nature.

By the end of the retreat, it often feels like a group of old friends.

That sense of community is something guests talk about long after the week in Chamonix is over.

Summer training has started in Chamonix.

The trails still have plenty of snow, so right now it’s a mix of running, hiking and patience.

But this is how mountain seasons begin — slowly waking up.

By summer the trails will be dry and ready for our retreats.

It’s wild how trail running works. We met through a trip I guided in the Alps more than six months ago, and now we’re dodging roots and catching up half way around the world.

Proof that the best connections are the ones that end up with muddy shoes and a shared trail, whether it’s high up in the mountains or deep in the Australian rainforest.
