I'm a UK nurse, running a simple 5 day 'retreat' in the French countryside, especially for frazzled HCP's. 50% discount on usual B and B rates for colleagues in need. We are a little 'retreat' in France, run by a cancer nurse, especially for frazzled healthcare staff using the beautiful countryside as a vehicle for relaxation, reflection and recovery. We have one very large en-suite room with king sized bed waiting for you +/- your partner* (or very good friend) and you have the use of the garden, can take produce from the potager and use the gas BBQ. join us on walks, bike rides, picnics, music events if you wish....or do your own thing, or lie in the hammock with a cold bottle of something and a good book. We're totally zen as long as you are! Lots of people come via either Nantes or La Rochelle and take a couple of days in the city on the way home, which they seem to really enjoy. We open our home for those NHS health care colleagues in need of a sanity break..a simple 'retreat' in France, run by a cancer nurse specialist, using the beautiful countryside as a vehicle for relaxation, reflection and recovery.
