We are really happy to have volunteers come and help the Gomde community be able to learn and practice Dharma. The community is ran by volunteers. Some staying longer, some contributing from afar for long, and some coming for shorter periods of weeks or months.

Often volunteers come because they are connected to Dharma already. But also there are many for whom volunteering at Gomde is first connection to Dharma.

Volunteers who wish to contribute with good effort and live together harmoniously are welcome to Gomde. It takes a lot of work from many people to have the community flourish.

The key is to wish to care for everyone around and wanting to work with ones own mind if something is not as pleasant as we would like to.

Thank you to everyone who contribute to Gomde in many different ways and make it a center of practicing Dharma.

Yesterday afternoon was the last session of the seminar with Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche here at Rangjung Yeshe Gomde Pyrénées. Rinpoche has given amazing and profound teachings on the nature of our minds. It had been a great seminar. Rinpoche taught more than he had promised.

And then just before people wanted to give their fareawell kathas to Rinpoche, he said - tomorrow morning at 9 we meet and chant the Narak Kongshak - one of the most powerful and important methods or practices of confession within the Nyingma tradition, and is also a particularly powerful prayer for those who have died or are ill.

And this is what we did. So amazing.

Narak Kongshak we will also be doing every day from June to August. When there will be pre-retreat for the new three-year retreat and at the same time a possibility to accumulate 100 000 of Vajrasattva mantra at Gomde for anyone who would like to join.

29th of December 2025, Guru Rinpoche Day was very special. Rinpoche led the conclusion of the first three-year group retreat for international Sangha at Rangjung Yeshe Gomde Pyrénées. 14 practitioners finished the retreat and many people came to welcome them. It was an amazingly joyful day of celebration and practice. It was inspiring to see the kind smiles of all the retreatants.

The retreatants and everyone welcoming them at Gomde were extremely thankful to Rinpoche for his kindness in making this retreat happen. Rinpoche has come often to bestow all the empowerments, transmissions, and introduction needed in three-year retreat.

Rinpoche emphasized several times how perfect Gomde Pyrenees is for long retreat. Mountain in the back, the sun shines for a long day, very remote and beautiful nature. Also Rinpoche invited us all to rejoice that Drubpon Tenzin Sangpo as well as the other senior teachers from Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery who guided the three-year retreat with their vast experience, wisdom, and kindness.

All together we rejoiced and had an enormous amount of gratitude to everyone who has helped to make this retreat possible. A kind devoted student who helped with the facilities, many volunteers who helped to renovate and serve the retreatants, donors who supported the building work as well as the retreatants. Rinpoche and the whole group was especially thankful to Tsadra Foundation who has kindly supported many practitioners in the retreat.

The next group of more than 20 practitioners will start the next three-year retreat at Gomde Pyrenees already in the summer. Till then the Gomde team will be very busy building extra rooms to accommodate all genuine practitioners under the guidance of Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche and Drupön Tenzin Sangpo.

Rinpoche also made aspirations that Gomde Pyrenees would soon have permission to build a temple and many retreat huts, so many genuine Dharma practitioners could reach realization here.

Dearest Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche,

We have such vivid memories from the time when you closed our first 3 year retreat here in Rangjung Yeshe Gomde Pyrénées in September 2022, it feels like it just happened recently. Since then you have come to the Pyrenees many times to provide essential guidance to the retreatants and very generously also held seminars for us fortunate students here in the main house.

On the closing day we are overflowing with gratitude, love, and devotion to you. Thank you for being there for us constantly and letting no one behind. Keeping all of us all in your heart, always. Without you none of this would happen, no Gomde, no 3 year retreat, we would be so lost. Only by following your profound teachings and by practicing diligently, we can give back what you give to us. Our dear retreatants are such an inspiration for us how to do this in the best way.

Thank you most precious Rinpoche for bringing all of us together with our different skills and abilities to help make your vision alive. Thank you for the many opportunities to accumulate merit. May many more 3 year and shorter retreats happen here in Rangjung Yeshe Gomde Pyrénées and elsewhere in your wide Mandala. May so many of your students authentically practice until enlightenment.
