Demystifying the world of magical plants.

Here at The Shamans Art, we made some exciting decisions to move our attention away from concentrating on practitioner training to shifting focus to the use of magical plants within a healing & ceremonial context.

The use of magical plants (psychedelics) is a complicated subject, and can be a culturally dangerous ground to step on, as there are lot of opinions on this subject. We are going to attempt, (in our humble opinion), to demystify a whole array of subjects that surround this topic.

As we attempt to simplify some of the subjects around plants, we will also share our 25 years of experience that we have working with plants within a ceremonial setting. Also, just as vital, is working in ceremony without the use of plants, yes you heard me right, grounding ourselves by also working within ceremony without the use of magical plants.

It can give you valuable insights into understanding how ceremony works within animistic and shamanistic worlds, you could say it is like looking at the same world with two sets of eyes. This is definitely not a unique way of looking at ceremony, but some people only understand ceremony from one perspective, either from a non-plant perspective or just a plant perspective.��
