🌎 Purpose Day 2025 North America – Strengthening communities through action

Across North America, Ceva teams took action for animal welfare, biodiversity, and local communities.

🇨🇦 In Canada, employees spent Business Purpose Day at the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society York Region Animal Centre, cleaning, organizing, preparing gardens, and creating enrichment toys, with year-round support via Feliway® and Adaptil®.

🇺🇸 In the U.S., over 100 from our team volunteered at the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City, Pet Resource Center of Kansas City, and KC Pet Project, contributing 1,000+ hours. They helped repair flood-damaged dog runs, organize donated pet food, clean kennels, prepare enrichment treats, do laundry, and assist with landscaping. Teams also toured the shelters and met animals awaiting adoption. 🐾

At Ceva’s Verona, Wisconsin site, employees planted 14 native flower species to create a pollinator garden supporting local biodiversity and fostering learning and connection among coworkers.

🌍 Preventing avian influenza isn't a choice: it's a necessity.

🇮🇹 In a recent interview with la Repubblica – LaZampa, Loïc Jegou, Vice-President Europe at Ceva, explains how avian influenza is now circulating year-round, affecting wild birds, farmed poultry, and an increasing number of mammal species. Sporadic human cases reinforce that this is not only an animal health issue, but a priority.

👉 At Ceva, we have over 12 years of experience vaccinating poultry against HPAI. We demonstrated success of large-scale vaccination programmes, such as the French duck campaign (since 2023), which dramatically reduced outbreaks while supporting animal welfare, food security, and sustainability. We are also doing investment in next-generation vaccine platforms, genomic surveillance, and DIVA strategies to ensure effective monitoring and safe trade.

🐓 Avian influenza control is built on three pillars: biosecurity, surveillance, and vaccination. Acting early, consistently, and collaboratively is essential to reduce viral circulation and prevent future crises.

🌍 Acting for a more sustainable future means that protecting the planet goes hand in hand with transforming the way we operate every day.

📉 In 2024, we continued to track and improve our carbon intensity, measured as the ratio of our CO₂ emissions (in tonnes) to the Group’s 2024 revenues (in millions of euros). This key indicator guides our commitment to decarbonise our activities over time.

Across Europe, our teams turned commitments into concrete actions:
🏢 At our new headquarters, geothermal energy now provides heating and cooling, and solar panels installed on the parking lot supply 100% of the building’s electricity needs.
📦 Our European logistical center has obtained BREEAM environmental certification, operates with geothermal power, and uses ecograzing practices to support local biodiversity.
🇮🇹 In Porto Empedocle, the completion of the rooftop solar project now generates clean electricity that covers 30% of the site’s total consumption.
🇫🇷 In Libourne, we approved a major water-reduction initiative designed to save between 10,000 and 14,000 m³ of water each year.

🌎 In South America, Purpose Day 2025 brought Ceva teams together around a shared ambition: supporting animals in vulnerable situations while strengthening our connection with local communities.

🇦🇷 In Argentina, Ceva Salud Animal employees volunteered at Mi Reino Por Un Caballo, an NGO rescuing and rehabilitating abused and abandoned horses. Volunteers built shade structures to protect the animals from extreme heat while fostering team spirit.

🇧🇷 In Brazil, our teams in Campinas and Paulínia partnered with the AAAC - Associação Amigos dos Animais de Campinas, revitalizing facilities through painting and infrastructure improvements. In Juatuba, employees continued their collaboration with the NGO Asas e Amigos, expanding environmental enrichment projects for rescued felines and primates.

🇨🇴 Ceva Región Andina participated for the first time, with 13 volunteers supporting Adopta Un Buen Amigo Chan foundation by cleaning, bathing animals, providing deworming treatments, donating Ceva products, and spending quality time with cats and dogs awaiting adoption.

🌍 Across Europe, Ceva teams mobilised for Purpose Day 2025, turning our and commitments into local actions supporting and the .

In the BENEDACH region, nearly 120 people from the team engaged in initiatives at zoological parks such as Pairi Daiza, Zoo Duisburg as well as the bee keeper HoodyBee - Dein Lieblingshonig aus der Nachbarschaft. At Ceva Phylaxia Campus (Hungary), 40 colleagues supported two nearby animal shelters with facility improvements, landscaping, and direct interaction with dogs. A company-wide donation drive contributed 350 kg of pet food, beds, toys, and supplies, reinforcing long-term support.

🚀 The Ceva Graduate Programme has officially taken off!

Launched at the end of 2024, our first cohort is continuing its progression and integration within the group. After a successful first rotation, our nine young talents, based in Hungary, the USA, Italy, France, and Thailand, have embarked on the second stage of their adventure.

They gathered in Libourne for a boot camp rich in learning, exchange and inspiration: training sessions, discussions with our CEO Marc Prikazsky, inspiring talks by several experts, collaborative workshops and participation in the “Pulse the Future” convention, culminating with the inauguration of Pulse, our new headquarters.

🙏 A big thank you to all the speakers for their valuable contributions. It was a week of exploration, learning and great collective energy, true to our vision: Together, beyond animal health. 🩺🐾

🇩🇪 Some days ago, at our campus, we were proud to welcome around 80 scientists and experts from academia, government institutions, and industry for the very first Veterinary Vaccine & Technology Days, organised in partnership with "One Health Region-Vorpommern".

🚀 To advance innovation through global collaboration, we showcased cutting-edge developments in veterinary vaccinology, including next-gen vaccine platforms, advances in rabies vaccination, addressing avian influenza challenges or research on Nipah virus.

🗣️ The discussions reflected a shared commitment to innovative, adaptable solutions that support animal, human, and environmental health, in line with our approach.
