We are thrilled to welcome Sébastien Huron to Ceva as our new 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿!

This move forms part of a broader governance evolution, following Marc Prikazsky’s decision to appoint a Deputy CEO and move to a dual leadership structure. He becomes 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻, overseeing long term strategic priorities, while Sébastien Huron steers the Group’s operational management and chairs the Executive Committee.

Over 70% of infectious diseases originate in animals, reinforcing the fact that animal health is at the forefront of defence against a wide range of public health threats, in line with the approach.

Rabies is a clear example of a disease that could undergo dramatic reduction if approached with One Health strategies. It kills almost 60,000 people each year around the world, mostly in developing nations, and could be eliminated with concrete efforts by governments and other stakeholders. Ceva can contribute to eliminating this disease with our innovative oral vaccine for stray dogs.

Today, during the “Anticipation and healthcare sovereignty in the face of global threats” panel at the One Health Economic Forum, Marc Prikazsky, our CEO, called for international collaboration between governments, multilateral organizations and private companies to eliminate rabies.

🇫🇷 We are proud to attend the and the , a major global event bringing together Heads of State and senior government officials, international organisations, and private sector leaders.

The approach highlights the strong connections between human, animal, and environmental health – a vision reflected in our signature since 2010: “Together, beyond animal health.”

Over 70% of emerging infectious diseases originate in animals, and many are zoonotic: they affect both animals and humans. With climate change, urbanization, and demographic shifts, their spread is accelerating globally. At Ceva, we reaffirm the urgency of turning the One Health concept into concrete actions to care for all animals, the environment and our own species.

A few days ago, something special happened at our global headquarters in Libourne. For the very first time, 16 dogs joined their owners at the office. This marks the beginning of a permanent initiative, led by a group of passionate employees.

At Ceva, our belief in the human-animal bond is not just a tagline. It is at the core of who we are and a strong pillar of the vision. As a global leader in animal health, we know that the connection between humans and animals has a real, scientifically measurable impact on well-being, even at work.

According to Purina, fellow advocates for the power of the human-animal bond in workplace well-being, 67% of employees say animals in the office reduce stress, and 63% say this fosters team cohesion.

That is why implementing the “Pets at Work” program is both a natural fit for us. We look forward to welcoming more dogs into our offices in the coming days!

Spring is just around the corner, and so are ticks.

Every year in March, serves as a timely reminder that these parasites are already present, seeking their next host – whether pets or humans. Ticks can carry a range of dangerous diseases, transmissible to both animals and humans, with being just one example.

One fact that often surprises people is that ticks do not wait for summer. They become active as soon as temperatures reach 4°C, which means the risk is already present.

The good news is that prevention works. Prevention is not just a message for us at Ceva; it is a commitment. It drives the solutions we develop for animal health.

That is why we encourage protecting pets to break the transmission chain, for both them and humans.

We highlighted Genesys, our automatic gender-sorting machine that is transforming hatchery operations. During the sessions, experts from Europe, Latin America, and Asia shared how Genesys supports farmers, with field results demonstrating improvements in various aspects of and management.

💧 Water is one of our planet’s most precious resources, and protecting it is a responsibility we all share.

To mark , we are highlighting the practical initiatives led by our teams around the world to reduce our consumption and embed increasingly sustainable practices at our sites.
🇮🇳 At our site in Pune, India, the teams have focused on simple yet effective measures: repairing leaks, removing unnecessary water points and installing rainwater harvesting systems. The result? An estimated saving of 820,000 litres of water per year.
🇫🇷 In France, the Libourne (Pulse) and Montpon-Ménestérol sites have installed a rainwater harvesting system for everyday uses such as irrigation and sanitary facilities. In 2025, 176 m³ of water was thus reused at our Montpon-Ménestérol distribution site – and under normal operating conditions, the recovered water could cover up to 15% of the site’s annual requirements.
🇨🇦 In Guelph, Canada, a water efficiency initiative has completely eliminated the use of drinking water for machine cooling, generating a saving of nearly 5,200 m³ per year.

👐 These examples illustrate a firm belief: local actions add up to make a significant difference. Together, they help reduce our environmental footprint, preserve ecosystems and build a more sustainable future.

Parasites are one of the most common health threats to pets worldwide, yet they often go unnoticed until serious harm is done.

Fleas, ticks, and worms can cause pain, illness, and even death. And some parasites don’t stop at pets…they can spread to people, putting entire households at risk!

The good news: prevention works. Pet owners can help ensure their animals are well protected and work with a veterinarian to ensure it’s effective. And by preventing parasites in pets, we also help safeguard the people around them.

That’s the message behind the Prevention Pledge for World on March 20th, and it’s why we’ve signed it.
