Tendons; the connection between your muscle and bone

Our tendons connect your muscle to the bone and transfers the power created by the muscle into movement of the bone. At the same time it acts as a shock absorber protecting the muscle from tears. Keeping your tendons healthy and strong is the base to prevent injuries and performance.
By loading your tendons in the correct way you stimulate them to become stronger and more dense.

Different solutions for different goals:
- Plyometrics and Explosive Strength Training for tendon stiffness and
performance
- Heavy Load and Slow Movement for more flexible tendons and less risk of
injury

Switching between these kind of training during the season will reduce your risk of injuries and will let you perform at higher levels.

Spring is finally here. Warmer temperatures means the snow is transforming and sticking better together. That's why spring is the safest time of the year to go ski touring. At least if you start your day early!

We like to go far away from lifts and ski resorts, so it's a good thing the refuges are opening again!

Already one week since Coach Axel finished the Tour de France of Skimo racing together with his teammate Corentin. A mix of a lot of vertical meters and technical downhill skiing in the beautiful valley of the Beaufortain made it a tough but epic challenge.
"Next year I will definitely do it again but first it's time to prepare for the main goal of the summer."

2 years ago, Luk, 70+, a real globe-trotter, couldn't travel anymore the way he was used to. His back & knee pain slowed him down. Walking 30 minutes was a challenge. We started to train consistently on general strenght and added bike rides and a walking program. Now he does 4 hour hikes (19.000 steps) in the mountains again and enjoys it even more!
