Osteopathy is a hands-on healthcare profession focused on helping people move more freely and feel better in their everyday lives. At the ESO, this is reflected in how you learn. You are not only developing your understanding of the body; you are applying that knowledge in a real clinical environment, working with patients under the guidance of experienced practitioners.
Through the on-site teaching clinic, you gain valuable experience treating members of the public as part of your training. This integrated approach allows you to build confidence, refine your practical skills and develop a professional mindset from early in the course.
As your training progresses, specialist clinics - including sports and paediatric care - provide opportunities to broaden your experience and explore different areas of practice. This practical, hands-on approach is a key part of becoming a capable, well-rounded Osteopath.
