Find a comfortable and peaceful place to sit or lie down. Close your eyes gently and take a few deep breaths, allowing yourself to settle into a state of relaxation.
Start by bringing your focus to yourself. Visualize a warm, radiant light in your heart center. With each inhale, this light grows brighter, filling you with love and compassion. Feel this warmth spreading through your entire being, nurturing you from within.
Now, as you continue to breathe deeply and steadily, imagine someone dear to you. It could be a friend, family member, or a mentor. Visualize them standing in front of you, and gently offer them your heartfelt wishes.
Silently repeat these phrases or similar ones in your mind: "May you be happy. May you be healthy. May you be safe. May you live with ease."
Allow these words to carry your genuine intentions of kindness, compassion, and goodwill towards this person. Feel the love and warmth radiating from your heart towards them.
Next, broaden your focus to include others in your life—friends, colleagues, neighbors, or even those you may not know personally. Extend the same wishes of happiness, health, safety, and ease to all beings.
Finally, bring your attention back to yourself. Envelop yourself in these same compassionate wishes: "May I be happy. May I be healthy. May I be safe. May I live with ease."
