SEUDโs objective is to focus attention on a group of diseases that negatively affect womensโ health and fertility, including endometriosis, adenomyosis, uterine fibroids, polyps, heavy menstrual bleeding and uterine malformations. SEUD aims to improve disease management and reduce the impact on womenโs lives through focused debate on disease awareness, pathogenesis, risk factors, diagnosis and medical/surgical treatments. SEUD also represents an international forum to promote education and training for a new generation of young experts with new perspectives based on translational research experience. This forum will be supported by an annual meeting, the official Journal of Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Disorders and a website facilitating a network of information and experts including gynecologists, biological scientists, bioengineers, and other stakeholders in womenโs and reproductive health.
