This ratio is super telling. We can see how much thyroid hormone is actually ENTERING your cells and therefore useable to you.
Even if you can get your GP to do a full thyroid panel - many don’t, this just shows how much thyroid hormone is circulating in the blood. Then they will likely prescribe you something to speed up your thyroid if it’s slow. But imagine from the perspective that your thyroid is slowing you down for a reason, to prevent further burnout, OR that your thyroid is lacking critical minerals for it’s function, meds aren’t going to much good are they!
When calcium is elevated (greater than 4) relative to potassium this indicates trend towards HYPO thyroid When calcium is low (less than 4) relative to potassium this indicates trend towards HYPER thyroid.
