Yesterday I sent out my first weekly newsletter in English and I hope people enjoyed it.
Since it was a premiere, I thought it was a good idea to introduce myself as a therapist and also a little bit as a person.
Here's a shorter version, that I hope will persuade you to become a subscriber in the future.
Every month I present a special offer, just for recipients of the newsletter.
In April it's a free facial massage with Gua Sha and a fabulous anti-ageing oil added to your usual treatment.
I will remove any make-up before the facial massage, and after let you steep with a nourishing mask, before I apply sun screen SPF30. All products are vegan and organic.
I have a wide variety of treatments on my menu. My treatments have changed along with my client base, and I like to "help the body heal itself", a filosophy that results in less painfull treatments, but also lets the client deal with any trauma on their own terms and when they are ready.
I sometimes feel like I will never finish my education, because science keeps discovering new things about the human body and mind, and that affects the way therapists work, manually or otherwise.
In Nice I offer these treatments:
De-stressing treatment, a mix of trauma release exercises, Nordic body therapy massage and reikihealing. Maybe some breathwork thrown in. This treatment lasts 90 minutes and can be stretched to 120 minutes, if you like.
Healing massage, a mix of Nordic body therapy massage and reiki healing. Maybe a bit of reflexology... You can book 30, 45 or 60 minutes, stretch to 90 minutes, if you like. For your first treatment book at least 45 minutes.
Nordic body therapy massage. Oil free, fully clothed, surprisingly relaxing, especially if rounded off with 5 minutes of reiki healing. Book 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Don't stretch it. For your first time book at least 45 minutes.
Trauma release exercises. No touching, fully clothed instruction in how to start the neurogen tremor that relaxes stress, tension, shock and trauma. 30, 45 or 60 minutes. For your first time book 45 minutes, no more, no less.
Reiki healing. Gentle re-balancing, grounding, clarifying and pain-relief. Book 30 or 45 minutes. 45 minutes the first time. In April I have a special offer of 4 reiki healings in 2 weeks, where the final one is free.
Meet your future therapist? We meet so you can check if we are a match. It can be here or at a nearby café. A 20 minute free pre-consultation.
Facial massage with Gua Sha. Relaxes facial muscles and gives your skin that nice glow. Treatment is 30 minutes, which includes make up removal, massage, face mask and finally sun screen SPF30 application.
Breathwork. We all know how to breathe, but did you know that you can diminish stress and bloodpressure or affect your sleep and digestion with breathing exercises? I love this, and so do clients that have an issue with being touched. Maybe you will, too? Book 30 or 45 minutes. 45 minutes for your first time, definately.
I will go into more details about the different treatments in future newsletters, but you are welcome to ask, if you have any questions now.
I don't think that I have NOT mixed treatment forms in the last 20 years, so even when a client specifically books a Nordic body therapy massage, it will end up being 80% that, 10% breathwork, 5% reikihealing and 5% reflexology or another mix.
Every time a person gets on my table, I compose a treatment just for that person at that specific time, based on how they are feeling that day and what the body tells me it needs.
It NEVER gets boring.
My latest hyper focus is the Vagus nerve, the parasympathetic part of our central nervous system, that regulates and balances a lot of bodily functions, or at least very much tries to, but sometimes it needs a little help, which is where I come in handy...
