I only had cravings and food aversions during my first trimester. Now my appetite and food preferences are totally the same as before pregnancy. I try to eat nutrient-dense, fresh and seasonal food whenever possible but do make some exceptions.

My biggest weaknesses are ice cream and chocolate. I really love this chocolate from that has only 3 ingredients! You can enjoy high-quality chocolate without j***y ingredients.

Testing for gestational diabetes doesn’t have to be disgusting or include ingredients you don’t want to put in your body.

I’m going to guess most women don’t even know what the ingredients are in “THE GLUCOLA” drink and just go-with-the-flow for whatever the doctors ask. 😅

If that’s what you want to do… go for it… I just knew I didn’t want to consume a large amount of GMO glucose, preservatives and artificial flavours.

I actually love this!

I have to admit I usually hate the new trends that I see going around about nutrition because they’re not sustainable, realistic or supportive of health for the long term.

But I have to say I’m kind of in love with this one…

🦴 And that’s incorporating BONE BROTH into your diet. 🍲

I’ve always loved this picture of my mom because it shows her resilience and strength. Doing physical farm work while pregnant is NOT easy. I’m sure she didn’t necessarily want to be out in the field… but she did it anyways.

I never imagined that I’d also have my own farm one day, let alone work on one with my own baby growing inside me. I can definitely say I didn’t work as hard as her and took a lot of breaks. I have a wonderful family who came to help out with the berries and I am forever grateful 🥹💞

I wear sunscreen on my face almost everyday so I’ve tried a lot of brands over the years. While TTC and pregnant, I’m more cautious about what goes on my skin. A lot of the sunscreens on the market have chemicals that can disrupt hormones or aren’t safe for the baby.
