There is no difficult client
There is only therapists with agendas
And yes sometimes some clients trigger certain emotions or resistance in us. If it has nothing to do with social justice and unfairness it's usually coming from within.

The most difficult client wasn't the person sitting in front of us, but in fact probably the realisation that they provoked something familiar or deep within us. One must not mistake giving his hand out to offer help, with reaching for something. Clients are not tools for our self gratification or saviourism.
The moment that occurs, we become ourselves a client too.

It happens, and when it happens we should notice and acknowledge it. Maybe either own up to it. Or realise that was aren't qualified to work with each and every type of client. That isn't the goal from this calling. The goal is creating connections, safe spaces, holding space, and metaphorically, hands too.
