PLEASE stop repeating these statements:

1️⃣ “Maybe God is just calling me to a life of singleness.”

2️⃣ “All the hot Christian guys are already married.”

3️⃣ “Even if he is a Christian, there’s no way he’s going to be willing to wait to have s*x til we’re married”

4️⃣ “Dating sucks in my city! Dating apps suck. Men in this generation suck.”

5️⃣ “I’m so lonely. Life is going to be so much easier and so perfect once I’m married!”

The Bible tells us that the tongue has the power of life and death.

Please use your tongue to speak LIFE over your dating. 🌱

I’m not talking about toxic positivity where you never validate any of your emotions...

But I’m also still saying that how you speak about your dating experience is going to continue to directly shape your experience.

btw, this advice is primarily for Christian women who are trying to decide if they should get married or not.

I swear… every time I talk about this, I get a bunch of (primarily male) trolls who say really mean things about me being the problem.

And hey, they aren’t wrong 😂

I was part of the problem!

And he was part of the problem 🤷🏻‍♀️

And we weren’t the right fit for each other ultimately…

And then I broke up with him…

Spent time healing & falling more in love with Jesus and honestly getting to know myself wayyyy better!

And then I met my now husband & living happily ever after 🥰🥰🥰🥰

We’ve been married for over 6 years, together for over 7

and we’re still super obsessed with each other! 😍

So the haters can hate… but I’m really dang happy with my decision.

and every day I thank myself for having the courage to walk away when I knew it wasn’t right.

And that’s what I want for you too 🫶🏼

“Women should NEVER rely a man”

“Women should be strong & independent”

“Women should focus on their careers and making money”

All that great advice…

And now we wonder why we’re all strung out women over-rotated into our masculine??? 😭🤯🙄

Btw…

I’m preaching to the choir here because I’ve absolutely fallen into this societal narrative before 😭

Ladies, if you want to find a healthy, masculine, Godly man…

Break these inner agreements you’ve made.

Whether you intentionally or unintentionally started to agree with this narrative,

if you find yourself thinking “men suck”

You’ve GOT to break agreement with that lie.

God created male & female to work together in a beautiful partnership.

Yes, women weren’t treated well in marriage historically and that’s not okay.

But now we’ve completely *over- rotated* as a society.

The truth is:

Marriage can be healthy.

Men & Women do need each other.

Marriage isn’t perfect, but it’s still really freaking amazing.

Start buying into that narrative 🩷

6 and 1/2 years ago we said “I do” and marriage with this man gets better every day 💕🥹

If you want to start doing the inner work that changed everything for me!

Because this happy, healthy relationship would never have happened if…

…I didn’t overcome the belief that “there are no good guys out there anymore” or that “all the good ones are already taken”

… if I hadn’t stayed picky and believed God wanted to give a miracle to me

…if I hadn’t made a list of everything I was believing for & hadn’t spent time becoming aware of my non-negotiables.

… if I wasn’t willing BREAK my own heart by walking away from relationships with really good guys that deep down, I didn’t feel peace about marrying…

… if I didn’t make God the main priority in my life first and foremost & surrender a lifestyle of partying & needed attention from men

…if I didn’t journal consistently, reflecting on my mindset, get to know myself and learning how to see myself as a valuable asset

My journey was honestly so far from perfect, I made a lot of mistakes…

but I kept getting back up…

I was willing to be (somewhat) patient…

I kept praying and believing…

And I know if this love story is possible for us,

IT’S POSSIBLE FOR YOU TOO!!! 🙏🏼😍

Don’t give up on your love story.

Keep praying!

Keep holding on to hope that your day will be here sooner than you think!!!

and the wait will be SO worth it 🙏🏼🤍

I truly believe these letters were crucial in keeping my faith alive in a journey that felt impossible.

Sometimes I wrote a letter in tears…

Other times I wrote the letter with excitement….

Other times I would start writing a letter and then walk away halfway because it was too painful…

But I just kept writing them because it was forcing me to hold on to hope!

I know it seems IMPOSSIBLE…

but God has a way of turning the impossible into possible!!!

I know you feel like you’re the last single Christian woman on earth…

But the truth is that you still have time 🕰️✨

The best years of your life aren’t behind you.

Your best years are still ahead of you!!!

Don’t listen to the lies of the enemy.

God has plans to prosper you & your future 🙏🏼🥰

You will meet your husband one day, and maybe it’s sooner than you think!
