Je pense que la correction de la subluxation est quelque chose d’unique pour notre profession et je pense sera ce qui permettra à notre profession de garder son identité d’une profession de santé à part entière
Hopefully, by now, you have heard that in April 2025, Dr. Joe Betz was elected president of ICA. His background in leadership and contributions to chiropractic and the ICA made him a natural choice.
If you don’t already know him, here’s more about Dr. Betz:
Dr. Betz currently practices in a ChiropracticBioPhysics® office in Boise, Idaho. As a member of the ICA Research Committee, he focused on defending radiography in chiropractic through the publication of over a dozen research papers. He also wrote several chapters for two CBP® textbooks, with a special emphasis on scoliosis correction.
“Miracles happen all the time in chiropractic offices around the world. Now we just need further research to try to understand and describe how these amazing results occur,” said Dr. Betz.
Dr. Betz has been an active member of the ICA since 1997, serving in many capacities, including the role of ICA Vice President under Dr. Sigafoose-Jackson’s leadership. He was voted Chiropractor of the Year in 2023.
“The mission of the ICA to protect and promote subluxation-based chiropractic is the reason why I have always supported the ICA since my time as a student at Life University. No other organization in the world has this mission.
I believe the correction of the subluxation is what makes chiropractic unique and the main factor that can propel chiropractic throughout the world as a distinct health care profession,” said Dr. Betz.
