Stressed out, burnt out, mentally fatigued, sensorily overloaded, cyber addicted, desensitised, anxious, fast pacing city-dweller. Being in Nature is proven to have a positive effect on mood. But Experiencing Nature maximises the connection that helps foster thoughts and behaviours that enhance your wellbeing. Horticultural Therapy --like Art therapy-- suggests concrete, tactile, diverse, creative hands-on sensory opportunities that inspire change. Engaging directly with plants, gardens and high tactile nature arts, we cultivate Sensory awareness, promoting self awareness and self care. Other benefits of intentional guided Nature activities may include not only stress relief and restorative refocusing, but decreased anxiety and improved self esteem. The workshops take place outdoors, in public gardens, or in homes and offices, but you could also drop by and see me in my Atelier. I tailor to groups or to individuals of all ages and capacities.
