It’s been a busy and beautiful day. I started with my French lesson at the Little Language School in St-Junien, where Louisa guided us through ce qui and ce que—those tricky indefinite relative pronouns I really need to get to grips with! We also did a translation exercise, and interestingly, learned that the cloud and grey skies we're experiencing here are partly due to fires in Western Canada. Who knew?

Later, I had the most incredible experience at the Iremia Head Spa. I can’t recommend it enough—if you’re visiting or living nearby, treat yourself to this amazing Japanese head spa. It’s pure relaxation and care.

Afterwards, I got a bit of work done while lounging in my hammock (the best kind of office), before meeting with Thibaut to discuss the next protest plans for the projet éolien de Chéronnac.

The site at Peyrassoulat, where our retreats take place among ancient trees, is of immense natural importance. Some of you may have seen my recent posts about the sacredness and beauty of that land. It was wonderful to chat with Thibaut—I got to practice my French and deepen my understanding of the cause.
