Providing Kundalini yoga lessons for anyone who would like to experience the wondrous effects of this yoga practice, as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Bringing together the body, mind and soul. I am here to guide you on this journey to becoming the very best version of yourself. Lessons take place every week online (due to covid). For the lesson: wear loose fitting clothes; avoid heavy food for 2-3 hours before; have some water with you to drink and have something warm to cover yourself with whilst relaxing. All of my classes are suitable for those who are new to yoga as well as those with experience in Kundalini or other kinds of yoga, and everybody is equally welcome.

Instructions:

1) Stand up. Then squat down, keeping the feet flat. Extend one leg back as far as you can with the top of the foot on the ground. Most of the pressure will be on the bent leg. Put the palms together at the level of the mind nerve at the center of the chest.
Focus on the brow point. Inhale deeply and hold for 7 to 8 seconds. Repeat this cycle 3 times. Then
switch legs and do it completely again. Continue until each leg has been extended back 3 times.

2) Sit in easy pose. Lift the diaphragm high. Raise both shoulders as high as possible. Place the hands on the hips. Inhale and exhale very deeply while
holding this posture. Continue 2 to 3 minutes.

3) Still in easy pose, hook the fingers together at the center of the chest with the right palm facing down. Forearms and elbows are parallel to the ground. Inhale deeply. Exhale completely with force and apply mul bhand. Inhale — hold the breath,
apply mul bhand and mentally raise the pranic energy from the base of the spine to the top. Continue this
breath cycle for 3 minutes.

4) Sit in easy pose. Extend the arms out from the sides, parallel to the ground. Press the fingers up, palms facing out. Roll the eyes up and focus at the brow point. Inhale deeply — hold the breath while applying a firm mul bhand for 20 seconds. Then
exhale and repeat the cycle. Continue for 2 to 3 minutes.

5) In easy pose, press the palms together with the fingers pointing up. Pull the spine straight. Press the palms together with 30 to 50 pounds of pressure. Hold the position for 2 minutes. Then relax.

Many of us are scared to give themselves a chance to be Powerful, to achieve what they want, to see their purpose, even to be strong and healthy in their physical bodies.

We mustn't be scared!

The famous Kundalini Ego Eradicator! 👏👏👏

One of my favourite exercises/postures to warm up the body (and mind), and to start a kriya 🤗

This powerful exercise has many benefits, both for the physical and our energy bodies ➡️➡️ slide for more details.

Make sure to have your spine and elbows straight, and do the Breath of Fire! 🔥

❌If you are pregnant or menstruating, however, refrain from BOF and just do a long deep breathing instead.❌

(I will post about the BOF itself next, to help you avoid common problems.)

Try this exercise for 30-60 seconds every morning and see the amazing benefits for yourself.

HELLO post #3 after a long silence! 🙏

Going back to that first lesson of Kundalini yoga... As I've tried out so many types before, I always thought it was just another form of “regular yoga". Of course I was wrong!😏

Kundalini Yoga is a combination of spiritual and physical practice incorporating:
🔸movement
🔸dynamic breathing methods
🔸meditation
🔸and the chanting of mantras.

The goal is to build physical strength and vitality, and increase consciousness. 💫

Many kriyas/lessons are very physically challenging and that first one I've tried was definitely one of them!🙈🙈🙈

What happened was I could finally experience my personal strength and the way I could control/train my mind.🧠
Once I stepped over the signals my brain was sending in the beginning ❌❌❌"ohh I'm in pain!", "I can't do this" or "I am tired" I entered a deep meditative state, where I felt calm, safe. I didn't feel my body anymore, neither was I identifying with my mind; it was finally quiet. 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♀️

And it continued to be quiet the whole time, through the exercises, through the beautiful gong meditation at the end, and through the entire evening until the next day.🌌

When we don't live a balanced life within, we tend to try to fill the void with external gratification or stimuli.
🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕

And soon enough we understand that it simply cannot work this way!

The world/life changes and suddenly the usual gratification is unattainable...

We begin to feel attached, bored, anxious, depressed, or simply not so joyful and peaceful anymore. Familiar?😥🤯

But that is all too normal and luckily there are ways to get back to your true self, to train the mind 🧠, to live a balanced life. ⚖️
In fact, we've had the knowledge and the techniques for centuries, they have just been forgotten in the constant pursuit of "happiness".🤑

So what is this knowledge? What are the techniques?

😲😲😲

They are 🧘🏼‍♀️meditation🧘 and mindfulness!

Thankfully we are becoming more open to these because we see the scientific proofs and the proofs in real life!🙌

Also, even if you are okay and do not suffer from any mental disorder/don't have problems in life right now, doesn't mean that meditation cannot improve the quality of your life.

Feel stuck? Try the kundalini frog pose!✨🙌

It's also one of my most favourite postures (many hate it though)!🐸

The frog pose is a great posture to do when you feel like you're without the energy or feel mentally stuck.

It works on your upper thighs, impacting the kidneys (part of the body where we store fear and fight/flight response). So with this posture we work on the adrenals and the hormones released by them.

It increases the circulation in your body, builds your stamina, cardiovascular and respiratory systems!

And it helps us open the flow of energy! ✨✨💫

It builds our sexual potency and balances the sexual energy, which is very important when it comes to transforming this energy into Ojas, a vital life fluid which sustains our bodies.

If you want to work with chakras, this is a wonderful practice for increasing self-esteem, sexuality and creativity.

Try it for yourself! You can begin with 11 frogs, moving to 26 or go straight to 52 or 108 frogs!

🌺Another wonderful meditation: A meditation for Self-Affirmation🌼

It helps to affirm your purity, grace and mastery, and therefore your worthiness to receive. 💖✨

This meditation has helped me during the times of self doubt.

Starting out as a kundalini teacher can be a difficult period. Yet another time you only have 1 student turned up for the session, or 2 and one of them desn't like your session: the breathing is too long, the chanting is too uncomfortable... Suddenly you are comparing yourself to all the teachers you've seen 🤦🏼‍♀️ out there.

Eh! But, we mustn't give up. Yogi Bhajan said: "If you only know one kriya, then share that! Just be humble, teach it." 🙏

And so I continue to chant: Me within me is the purity...

Of course, this meditation is not only for the Kundalini teachers. It is for everyone to keep up 💪 , to make impossible possible, to become strong and roar like lions 🦁🦁through all obstacles.

Sit in easy pose, close the eyes and interlace the fingers in front of the chest.

Chant "Me within me is the Purity.
Me within me is the Reality.
Me within me is the Grace.
I am the master of this Space.

Every day is a possibility to serve, to love and CARE for someone!

We live our lives as if we have unlimited time on this 🌍, so consumed with our worries and busyness we forget our highest purpose - to love and to live in love!

Doesn't matter if you practice yoga or not, if you consider yourself spiritual or a scientist, if you're feminine or masculine, the planet EARTH is one for all, and we simply must serve each other (as in care and love, not provide a service), otherwise it is all for nothing.

Your boredom, depressions and judgements will dissolve once you truly learn to love and SERVE the humanity.

The news might be terrible this moment, but we, as intelligent creatures, can LEARN from it and move on to the better future for us all.

Let it be the day you find someone to truly serve, let it be the day you experience LOVE!
