🌿✨ Sevene partenaire de Weleda ! ✨🌿

Nous sommes très heureux d'annoncer notre partenariat avec le Groupe Weleda !

Cet accord global porte sur le développement des plantes médicinales (dans notre plantation), la production de teintures-mères et des remèdes homéopathiques (granules et liquides) à destination du marché français par Sevene pour Weleda.

Après une année 2024 de préparation intense (plantation, production, assurance qualité, adaptations réglementaires et autorisations) pendant laquelle notre équipe est à pied d’œuvre, la production démarrera en janvier 2025.

Ce partenariat constitue aussi pour Sevene un signe de reconnaissance fort quant à notre vision et stratégie.

In 2022, Sevene launched a program of research and experimentation in Agro-Homeopathy in the French vineyard.

Agro-homeopathy offers very interesting techniques for caring harvests and fields, with no chemistry. Biodynamics itself integrates some elements of agro-homeopathy with high dilutions.

The project Team, led by Jeanne Merlay (Agronomist, Sevene’s Plantation and Agronomy Development Director) is made up of scientists, agronomists and farmer experimented in agro-homeopathy.

We collaborate with three keen winegrowers, in Burgundy and Occitanie, for developing treatments of their vineyard.

This program, which combines experimentation and fundamental research, is designed to develop natural treatment solutions for the Vine (and the soil) to specifically treat some diseases or parasites that damage vines.

We are starting to record first data and results after one year. We will keep posted about this promising project.

Arnica is coming 🌱

In our drive to integrate our entire production process, it's important to grow as many plants as possible.

For several months now, the Sevene team at the plantation has been cultivating arnica on Cévennes soil.

💧As you probably know, arnica is a wild plant that grows in mid-mountain areas.
Due to drought and lack of water, it is becoming increasingly difficult to grow.

🚫To preserve wild arnica, Switzerland, for example, will soon be banning its harvesting.

We are therefore taking up a major challenge: self-sufficient, reasoned cultivation in a natural environment, free from pollution.

In these photos, Arnica plants are protected by a natural material that degrades in the soil.

Last week, Sevene received Living Homeopathy’s executive team, coming from Hong Kong : President Prof. Aaron To Ka Lun, Dr. Yvonne Fok, Sandy Yiu and Cailyne Chow.

They visited our gardens, our manufacturing facilities and our laboratory.

Sevene’s team was honored to receive them and proud to show our operations.

It has been some great moments during which we could share our common vision for Homeopathy’s future and development.

Living Homeopathy develops Homeopathy in Asia from Hong Kong with great achievements. Prof Aaron and his team bring a fresh and modern approach in our industry, strongly supporting Research.

Prof Aaron To KA Lun is a shareholder of Sevene.

Journée avec toutes les équipes de Sevene !

Au programme : tennis, ping-pong, molki, baignade, suivis d'un bilan de l'année écoulée et d'une présentation des projets en cours.

La journée s'est prolongée autour d'un apéritif et d'un buffet tous ensemble.

À cette occasion, nous avons eu le plaisir d'avoir la visite de Nicole et Ryan, 2 commerciaux américains invités à visiter nos sites suite à un challenge commercial.

C'était un plaisir d'échanger avec eux qui représentent Sevene et dans les points de vente aux Etats-Unis !

Bonnes pratiques agricoles 💡
Le paillage réduit notre consommation d’eau, avec des écorces de pin sur nos plants de ruta graveolens.
Cela permet de maintenir l’humidité du sol et mieux absorber l’eau.

🌱Chez Sevene, nous avons à coeur de donner le meilleur, pour nos produits, mais aussi pour nos plantes, et la terre qui les nourrit.

Emmanuel Bourguignon du laboratoire Lams21, une référence en matière d’analyse des sols, notamment de la vigne, est venu effectuer des études des sols profonds et des sols de la plantation.

Ces analyses ont pour objectif de mieux déterminer les carences, les plantations à effectuer et les éventuels traitements (100% naturels) à mettre en place.

Tout cela s’inscrit dans un processus très précis de notre plantation et de nos terres.

Emmanuel Bourguignon from the Lams21 laboratory, a pioneer and reference in soil analysis and in natural agriculture, particularly for vines, came to study the deep soil and the soil of the plantation in several points.

The purpose of these analyses is to have a better knowledge of our soil profiles, to identify eventual soil deficiencies, to better determine the plantations to be carried out in the different points of the gardens, and to define the possible treatments (100% natural of course) to be implemented if necessary.

All this is part of a very precise process of our plantation and our land.

[TEAM] Today, we present Nicolas Holleville, Business Transformation Director at Sevene USA.

💼 Can you tell us about your professional background ?
At 22 I decided to finish my Business School cursus abroad at Texas A&M University in the USA. I enjoyed this experience and never came back to France. I moved to New York City and I fell into the world of small businesses and entrepreneurship. I was part of several projects ranging from retail frozen gourmet foods (think of Picard Surgeles concept), online retail of luxury fashion and home goods, international telecommunication solutions for travelers to launching the US division of a famous diet created by a French doctor. In 2014 I moved to California and finally in 2016 I joined the entity that later would become Sevene in the distribution of homeopathic medicines and natural supplements.

🔗What's your role at Sevene?
At Sevene, part of the US division, I am in charge of the operations. This includes a lot of inventory planning and management, making sure that we have enough products to supply the demand! So my main focus is that things run efficiently in the background!

🤩What do you like about your job ?
What I like about what I do goes in tandem with what we do at Sevene. Offering unique, natural medicines that help people feel better is truly rewarding. It is an exciting time!
