How do you start your day? Straight into coffee and emails, straight into phone? Straight into toddlers taking the reins of your nervous system? Can you find ten minutes before your day starts (or anywhere in the day— during coffee, after the kids are dropped off..) to try this practice? Can you ask someone to help you find ten minutes? We are never paying attention to what’s going on internally, to what we need. Taking the time to stop and listen is paramount— it will gently affect how much pressure you put on yourself and how you organize your day.

Hi, my name is Leslie — I’m a therapist and yoga teacher living near Morzine in the French Alps. I am originally from Canada, and I speak French and English. 🇫🇷 🇬🇧 🇨🇦
I work in person and online with people who are moving through difficult situations involving stress, burnout, relationships, self-worth, emotional and personality disorder, as well as neurodivergence. My work incorporates Mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Parts work and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprogramming Therapy).
I teach mindfulness, yoga and meditation as well— these practices have completely changed my life and are the easiest and free-est way to improve your life starting today, even on your own. My go-to personal practices are meditation, Ashtanga yoga, and forest walking/bathing.
I run wellness retreats in the Alps, incorporating yoga and mindfulness, walks in the mountains, art, rest, and amazing food. I am currently developing a retreat specifically for people experiencing burnout— watch this space.
When I’m not working (which I love), you’ll find me in the woods, alone or with my two cats, Eddie and Theo. I love to cook, hike, surf (though I’m bad at it, as you can see in the photo of me surfing towards the peak), sing, laugh and ski. And of course, read psychology books.
