A new systematic review and meta-analysis on Natural Or***ce Specimen Extraction (NOSE) for colon cancer surgery demonstrates significant benefits. Compared to conventional laparoscopic resection, NOSE led to reduced blood loss, fewer overall postoperative complications, and faster patient recovery. Crucially, the study found no significant difference in long-term oncological outcomes, supporting NOSE as a safe, effective, and practical approach in selected patients.
