Here is our illustration of how noise affects three different types of hearing: "perfect", impaired, and enhanced.
While it is impossible to resume the vast complexities of any one individual's hearing to one image, this is our best attempt to visualize how one can be affected by noise, and how speech enhancement can help.

With "perfect" hearing, the background noise is there, but it doesn't prevent you from staying focused and following a conversation.

When you have impaired hearing, things get a bit more messy. The background noise tends to dominate your auditory perception, making it considerably difficult for you to listen to what you're trying to pay attention to.

While there is no such thing as a quick fix for the effects of hearing loss, speech enhancement technology can truly help. By selectively amplifying the voice you want to listen to, it enables you to easily distinguish that speech from the background noise.

With the Pulse Frames, we are excited to make this illustration an audible reality.

SILMO Paris 2023 was truly amazing for Pulse Audition! 🤩

At this international optics trade show, we've had the incredible opportunity to showcase our latest demonstrator, have countless impactful conversations, and take an immersive look into the creative and dynamic industry of eyewear design.
We've observed how the optics industry melds together fashion, practicality and state-of-the-art technology, empowering users to shape their unique identity while offering groundbreaking technological applications.

We leave the salon with a thrilling feeling - that we are not only witnessing history, but also taking part in the technological revolution of wearable AI technology. After seeing electronic integration in glasses of audio, AI, real-time subtitles, adaptive lenses and more, we feel reassured in our belief that glasses are tomorrow's connected device.

However, we also understand that there is a long road ahead of us. As with any new, exciting tech innovation, we need to be careful not to become distracted by the desire to fine-tune a solution while forgetting the true reason behind its creation: helping people live better lives.
At Pulse Audition, we will always remain committed to our mission at heart: to put an end to social isolation caused by hearing loss.

At Pulse Audition, we are a team of hardware engineers, AI engineers, MedTech experts, designers, acousticians, researchers, and software engineers. We come from all over the world - Italy, Ethiopia, the US, Paraguay and France.
