Who Invited Gravity?

"The reality is that during menopause, your body changes. (extract from chapter 5).

Remember when you could sneeze or cough without crossing your legs first? Those were the days. It’s not just related to coughing or sneezing, any sudden, unplanned movement could cause a leak (blame estrogen decline). 💦

For me, jumping up and down on my son’s trampoline (I love trampolines) was fraught with danger and crossing your legs whilst using a trampoline is not only impossible but it’s also not a good look!

Now, gravity feels like your new best friend who's overstayed their welcome and has decided to house squat for the foreseeable future.

Breasts start heading south for winter, a belly that appeared seemingly overnight, and joints that creak louder than your front door, welcome to menopause’s physical realities". 👀

Meet the Meno Monster.

She appears suddenly. She has strong opinions. She hates noise, nonsense, and people breathing incorrectly.

She’s not here to ruin your life. She’s here because your hormones have stopped buffering your tolerance. Fighting her just makes her louder.

The Meno Monster isn’t random. She shows up when:
• you’re overtired
• you’re overwhelmed
• you’ve ignored your own needs
• you’ve said yes when you meant no

She’s basically your nervous system waving a red flag and shouting: “ENOUGH.”

If this resonates, or you know a meno monster, please feel to like, share and follow.

Menopause has a way of sneaking in sideways.

One minute you’re tired.
Then anxious.
Then forgetful.
Then suddenly furious about absolutely nothing.

That doesn’t mean you’re falling apart.
It means your hormones are changing — and nobody gave you the memo.

This phase is confusing because it’s under-explained, not because you’re weak.

Be kind to yourself today.

If you know a woman who needs to hear this today, please feel free to share with them.
