There is no perfect week.
So stop waiting for one.

If you’re ready to break the stop–start cycle for good, message me ‘consistent’ and I’ll share the tools I use for myself and my midlife clients inside my Stop Starting Over programme.

The belief that you need to do everything perfectly when it comes to your health, is the reason why so many women keep starting over.

They think they’ve failed or ruined everything.

Blame themselves for a lack of willpower.
Not disciplined enough

But because their expectations are set too high
Aiming for perfect.
Perfect week.
Perfect food.
Perfect routine.

And when life inevitably gets in the way..
We decide we’ve failed.

But consistency isn’t meant to look perfect.

It looks like this.
Women showing up.
Building self-trust.

Focusing on doing things that make them FEEL good.
No matter how that looks for you.

Strong.
Healthy.
Happy.

Not because we’re perfect.
But because we keep going regardless.

If this resonates, comment CONSISTENT and I’ll send you the podcast episode that breaks this down and shows you how to build consistency without chasing perfect.

It’s not the cake, the glass of wine or the extra biscuit that ruins your progress.
It’s what you do after it.

The ‘one thing’ doesn’t undo your progress.
It’s the “I’ve ruined it now” mindset that does.

It’s the spiral that follows.

The I’ll start again Monday.
The all-or-nothing thinking.
Going back for more because you think you’ve blown it.

That’s the self sabotage.

That’s what’s holding you back.

It’s stopping you from finding moderation.

And it’s not your fault.

Years of yo-yo dieting, stop–start plans and being either ‘on it’ or ‘off it’ have trained you to think this way.

Because it feels easier to say no and tell yourself you’re being “good.”

What’s harder?

Having one slice.
Enjoying it.
Stopping when you’re satisfied.
And carrying on with the rest of your day.

That’s balance.

That’s what actually supports weight loss long term.
Your health.
And how you feel in yourself.

Life includes cake.
Celebrations.
Moments.

The goal isn’t to avoid them.
It’s to handle them without losing control.

If you’re tired of the stop–start cycle and want to learn how to enjoy food without spiralling, message me.

I’ll show you how to build progress that doesn’t rely on being perfect.

A birthday cartwheel seemed like a good idea at the time.

It wasn’t.

I’ve strained my hamstring with three and a half weeks to go till my hybrid events.
Track night cancelled ☹️.

But here’s what matters.

When something goes wrong, you don’t panic.
You don’t spiral.
And you definitely don’t do nothing.

You assess.
You adjust.
You get guidance.
You make a plan.

I’m getting professional advice, loading the muscle safely, and focusing on what I can do, not what I can’t.

Because this is the same mindset I teach around weight loss and health.

There will be setbacks.
There will be imperfect weeks.
There will be bumps in the road.

The difference isn’t avoiding them.

It’s how you respond.

Setbacks don’t stop progress.
Quitting does.

And I’m not quitting.

This is why I created Stop Starting Over.

Because women don’t lack effort.
They lack support in staying consistent when life isn’t perfect.

Six women joined me this weekend for a walk, a drink, and a focused health talk on breaking the stop–start cycle.

They left reassured, clearer, and with practical strategies they can actually apply.

That’s the value, not more pressure but guidance that actually fits real life.

Our next Walk & Talk is 29 March, focusing on health in menopause.

If you’d like to be part of it, message me “MARCH” and I’ll send you the details.

It’s more than just a walk.

On Sunday I’ll be sharing a health talk all about staying consistent when life isn’t perfect and breaking the stop–start cycle so many women feel stuck in.

We’ll walk, then sit down with a drink in Dallings and talk through practical ways to approach your health in a way that actually fits real life.

This is a small, supportive group and we’re nearly full now.

If you’ve been thinking about joining us, this is your reminder!

Booking closes tomorrow evening.

Message me today and I’ll send you the link to join.

This belief sits at the heart of my coaching. Helping women move away from the exhausting cycle of stopping and starting over and over again.

Not by trying harder.
Or having more willpower.

But by learning how to stay consistent when life isn’t perfect.

That’s exactly what I’ll be bringing to my local event, Stop Starting Over.

This Sunday, 22 February we’ll combine movement, connection with an honest conversation about building habits that actually fit into real life.

If this resonates with you and you’re ready to approach things differently, message me today and I’ll send you the details.

There are just a few spaces left.

For 30 years I’ve watched women blame themselves for a cycle that’s never been about willpower.

If you’re tired of falling off track and starting again every Monday, this is your invitation to do things differently.

This Sunday, 22 February at Dallings.

There are a few spaces still available. If you’re local, I’d love to welcome you.

Message me now and I’ll send you the details and how to join.

And the pattern isn’t that women don’t try.

It’s that they try hard… then life happens.

They start focused. They’re motivated. They want to feel better.

But when things aren’t perfect, when life gets stressful, sleep is impacted, hormones fluctuate, the weekend doesn’t go to plan…
It suddenly feels easier to stop and “start again properly” next week.

Over time, that cycle doesn’t just affect habits.

It affects confidence.

I see women begin to doubt themselves.
Their discipline.
Their willpower.
Their ability to stick to anything.

But it’s not about berating yourself and telling yourself to ‘try harder.’

It’s about learning how to stay consistent when life isn’t perfect.

And that is exactly what Stop Starting Over is about.

This local Sunday’s Walk & Talk isn’t just a walk.
It’s a conversation about breaking that stop–start cycle and building habits that actually fit into real life.

Six women are already joining us.
There are a few spaces still available if you’d like to be part of this small, practical and supportive group of women.

Message me and I’ll send you the details to join.

Everything I didn’t do last week…

I didn’t eat enough protein every day.
I ate meals out.
I didn’t hit my steps every day.
I missed part of a workout.

I didn’t prep all my food.
I had wine midweek.
I didn’t get to bed as early as I’d planned.

Last week wasn’t perfect.
And that’s the point.

Because here’s what I also didn’t do…

🙌I didn’t spiral.
🙌I didn’t tell myself I’d ruined it.
🙌I didn’t go into “I’ll start again Monday” mode.
🙌I didn’t throw the whole week away because it wasn’t perfect.

I just kept going.

That’s what consistency actually looks like.

Not ticking every box.
Not perfect days.
Not rigid rules.

But continuing even when life is busy, social, messy or a bit off plan.

One imperfect day or even a week doesn’t undo your progress.

Perfection isn’t the goal.
Not quitting is.

If this sounds familiar and you’re tired of the stop-start cycle, let’s change that.

Message me and I’ll show you how to build progress without needing perfect weeks.

Our Story

A women’s Jogging Club set up in 2010 by a local Abbots Langley mum, Debra Geard.

Now approaching it’s 8th year no one could have predicted the success the group would have.

We have become a very special running group where friendships have been formed. We are supportive of each other and together we have experienced running events that we never thought we would do!

Ladies have started running when they never thought they could with long term goals achieved. We never lose sight of keeping the sessions enjoyable and very sociable!
