"Hiroyuki Sanada once said: 'There are those who want a swimming pool in the house, while those who have one barely use it. Those who have lost a loved one feel a deep sense of loss, while others who hold them close often complain about them. Those who do not have a partner yearn for him, but those who have, sometimes do not value him. The hungry would give anything for a plate of food, while the well-fed complains about the taste. The one who doesn't have a car dreams, while the one who has one is always looking for a better one. The key is to be grateful, look carefully at what we have and understand that somewhere, someone would give everything for what you already have and don't appreciate.ā€

"I asked an elderly woman once what it was like to be old and to know that the majority of her life was now behind her.
She told me that she has been the same age her entire life. She said the voice inside of her head had never aged. She has always just been the same girl. Her mother's daughter. She had always wondered when she would grow up and be an old woman.
She said she watched her body age and her faculties dull but the person she is inside never got tired. She never aged. She never changed.
Remember, our spirits are eternal. Our souls are forever. The next time you encounter an elderly person, look at them and know they are still a child, just as you are still a child and children will always need love, attention and purpose."

In life, people will say things—intentionally or unintentionally—that might upset you, trigger you, or challenge you. But reacting emotionally to every comment, insult, or disagreement only gives away your power. It turns you into a puppet of other people’s words.

Think about it:
If someone can say a few words and completely ruin your peace, that means they are in control—not you.

True strength isn’t loud. It’s silent.
It’s the ability to stay calm when others try to shake you.
It’s the ability to observe without reacting.
To listen without absorbing.
To process without exploding.

Maturity is when you don’t take things personally.
Wisdom is when you respond with logic, not emotion.

It’s not about being emotionless—it’s about being emotionally disciplined.

So the next time someone tries to get under your skin, remember:
You don’t have to attend every argument you’re invited to.
Stay composed. Stay aware. Stay in control.

Because your peace is priceless—and true power is silent.

Pause to look back and smile as you realise how far you’ve come! How hard you have fought to where and who you are right now. Isn’t that amazing ā¤ļøšŸ§”

Our footprints on the planet come in many forms—some beautiful and natural, others harmful and careless. Let’s be mindful of the impact we leave behind, choosing to protect our beaches and wildlife rather than pollute and destroy the fragile ecosystems we all depend on. 🐦🐾
