Winter is hitting and it is getting COLD!

Clients have been learning about rugging and winter care the past week and this will continue until spring!

Please ensure you're wearing your WELLIES and your WATERPROOF COATS. Gloves and hats if its cold!

Morning everyone! Just a note to all existing clients that unfortunately some prices are going up from October 1st. This is due to the rising hay, bedding and feed costs due to the summer weather that we enjoyed! I think i have messaged everyone who the increase affects. I appreciate you all and totally understand if we need to adjust session frequency due to this price raise.

Absolutely love this photo from last year, one of our longest standing clients is off to a new adventure with her very own pony next week! Oly and Harry have taught her well!

Watch this space and you might even get a little sneak peek of said very special pony. , maybe she'll make an appearance in a few sessions ;)

Sorry been a bit quiet from me recently! With the school holidays we've been super busy with lots of people enjoying their summer pony time! I have a few one off sessions available throughout the rest of the summer, please dm me for dates!

Oly regularly suffers from rainbowitits, not always on his feet, usually his tail and mane!

Not the first one I've seen this year but good example of a case of rainbowitis. Only found during the summer months, although not contagious children can be carriers. Typical of most skin conditions it only affects the white leg but can also be found elsewhere on greys. Ponies are more likely to be affected as larger horses seem to have more immunity. It can be very simply treated with just one application of soap and water or alternatively wait until it rains 🌧 🤔 🙄 🌈 🦄 🤣

Our crew saw the dentist this week! It's super important to keep these teeth in tip top condition! I was very proud as they all handled it very well- even if Harry does look absolutely miserable! Its okay guys, all done for another 6 months 😂

The special headcollar allows their mouths to be propped open. Not the most comfortable thing but you can't exactly ask them to "say Ah"

We love taking advantage of the fun nature can provide, at the minute we are doing lots of blackberry picking (and tasting) and Nelly makes a wonderful basket to store our goods! She doesn't mind, as long as she gets a little snack too!
