🚩 Important Update for Patients 🚩

We would like to inform all our patients that Tarian Group (Park Surgery and St John’s Medical Practice) will be demerging from Greenmount Surgery and Danescourt Surgery in Cardiff from the 6th of April 2026.

The Aberdare surgeries and the Cardiff surgeries will continue to operate as they do now, and you will not see any difference to your usual team on any of the sites. Your appointments and prescriptions will remain unchanged.

We would like to reassure our patients that this change is part of an organisational restructuring and is designed to support the ongoing delivery of high-quality healthcare services for our communities.

If you think you need the Emergency Unit and it is not life-threatening, you should continue to .

Call 111 to speak to a call handler about your symptoms and, if further assessment is needed, you will be called by a CAV 24/7 clinician. There may be a wait for a call back from 111 and our CAV 24/7 service.

Please remain patient, a clinician will call you back and help you to access the care you need in the right place, first time. 💙

📢 Important Notice for Our Patients 📢

We’re upgrading our computer systems from 29th October to 10th November 2025. During this time, we won’t be able to access our usual systems.

To avoid any disruption to your medication, please make sure to submit your repeat prescriptions by 15th October 2025. We’ll be issuing two months’ worth of medication to cover the downtime.
