Ruth from our Saturday 9:30 group had her 5 stone award!

The applause was so crazy! Ruth was sharing how much it's changed her life already!

END OF A CHAPTER
The keys to 14 Duke street have been given back and it's all emptied out.

Feeling so grateful to the Aberdare Market Quarter for all the support I've been given. Especially Nigel, Alison Webb and Amanda Webber.

Not being from Aberdare I was a little nervous becoming a tenant because I'd heard so much negative things on social media. All I can say is that the Market is such a supportive and positive place. Everything they do it to help Aberdare thrive and they are so hard working!!

Even though we've moved to the Cynon linc, 14 Duke street will always have a place in my heart.

10 YEARS AS A CONSULTANT
5th September 2015 I opened my first Slimming World group in Georgetown.

That day my life changed forever, what a 10 years it's been.

Thank you Slimming World for giving me the freedom to run a business that let me leave my full-time job, supported me financially through COVID when everything was unknown, made it possible for me to run groups and be able to stay home with Amelia when she was born until now, time I will always cherish

Thank you to everyone single member who have joined my groups over the years. Whether it was Merthyr, Aberdare or Abercynon, I feel so privileged to be a small part of everyone's journey. Thanks for trusting me.

Thank you to Michele Haines and Cheryl England for making the early years easier and helping me leaflet even though it was cold.

Thank you to Karen Davies Walters, Al Griffiths , Ann Roberts, Ann Daniels, Kath Evans for always being there to help run group, I honestly couldn't do it without you.
