It's been a busy week full of great food at the Southsea Food Festival, Southampton Thai Festival and Great British Food Festival! 🍛🍔🍩

Our teams helped with site set up, managed busy road closures and car parks, and kept festival goers safe so they could enjoy all the treats and entertainment throughout the weekend.

We oversaw staff coordination, site presentation, and guest experience to ensure the camp remained in immaculate condition throughout the event.

Glastonbury Festival 2025

We had the privilege of sending a team to assist with internal traffic management at this year’s Glastonbury Festival — one of the largest and most iconic events in the world.

Our crew delivered outstanding support, helping to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient vehicle movements across the site. We’re proud of the fantastic feedback received and the incredible performances we witnessed along the way.

📍 Stonehenge Summer Solstice 2025

Still buzzing from this one over 25,000 attended 🔥 Even after increasing the team to cope with the anticipated numbers, the event reached capacity and the gates had to close. Thousands descended, roads were shut, and people walked the dual carriageways to get there. Madness.

But our team - Calm, focused, professional — and absolutely nailed it 💪

Proud doesn’t even come close. Thank you to every single person who played a part. You made it happen.

The Mandrake Events Team again providing traffic management and security to ensure the safety of those attending.

Friday marked the anniversary of D‑Day — a day when ordinary people showed extraordinary courage.

In Southsea, Portsmouth the D‑Day memorial stone stands quietly by the Seafront, opposite South Parade Pier—once a bustling embarkation point for Allied troops on 6 June 1944.

Each year, Portsmouth City Council and the Royal British Legion host a moving service around the memorial: wreath-laying, two minutes’ silence, visits from veterans and dignitaries—and now, as yesterday’s ceremony marked the 81st anniversary, a Royal British Legion parade and bugler performance gave respect to the fallen.

On this day, we pause at the stone, reflect on the sacrifice, and renew our commitment: lest we forget.
