Mandrake Events provides quality event infrastructure, stewards and marshals to a wide range of events across the country.

I’ve lost some of my contacts due to getting a new phone and having them save in WhatsApp rather than the phone.

We’re still looking for marshals for the sell out Great South Run on Sunday 19 October. Start times are 09:00, with finish times depending on where you’re based along the course.

If you’d like to join us, please message me and we’ll get you signed up.

There are also a few opportunities to help with the Saturday races, but spaces are limited as the footprint is much smaller.

What to expect:
• Dress in normal clothes (you’ll be provided with a hi-viz vest)
• Instructions will be given on the day by your sector supervisor

What a week for the Mandrake team!

We’ve been out in full force supporting:

The breakdown of the New Forest Marathon
The Traffic management and infrastructure for the Victory parade
The build and delivery of the Victory Air Show
The Wi******er Half Marathon

Each event required a huge amount of staff, logistics, and equipment — and we couldn’t be prouder of how smoothly everything went. A massive thank you to our incredible team who worked tirelessly to make it all happen

Now it’s on to the collection, clean-up, and prep — making sure all our kit is spotless and ready for the next big challenge.

What another incredibly busy week it’s been!

✅ The New Forest Marathon was another astounding success.

✅ The Southampton Boat Show received their first instalment of hired equipment – with two more to follow.

✅ The Bournemouth Triathlon and fencing support saw deliveries of barriers and Heras fencing.

Oh and chuck in another last min marquee request for good measure.

The team have worked flat out with some long days, and it’s not over yet – with clear downs still underway and the Victory Air Show set-up in full swing.

Looking ahead to next month still filling spaces for the 2025 Great South Run, get in touch early so checks and training can be completed in good time.

Here we go again! 🎉 The 2025 New Forest Marathon is here and the Mandrake Events crew are out in full force 🙌

We’re busy sorting the event kit, traffic management, marshals, and the all-important course setup so everything runs smoothly on race day

Mandrake hire is busy delivering fences, CCB, marquees and picnic benches to support the event further.

Last-Minute Wet Weather Rescue 🌧️➡️☀️

When a customer called us in a panic about the forecast for their summer party, Mandrake Hire stepped up. Within hours, we arranged and delivered a marquee and picnic benches, transforming their garden into a weatherproof party space.

Rain or shine – the party is planned to continue.

Weekly Roundup – Mandrake Event & Mandrake Event Hire Ltd

This week our team has been out and about delivering at Wimbledon for the Great British Food Festival

We’ve also been providing support services around Victorious Festival – helping festival-goers enjoy safe and smooth onward travel

On top of that, we’ve continued to support our smaller events and full-time contracts

It’s been a slightly quieter week (which has been a welcome breather!) and given us the chance to reset and recharge before a super busy September ahead
